We too are still waiting for our pin. DH phoned today, he was told that it was in the post. Told today that it hasn't been posted but we could transfer money to our current account on the phone!! Transferred to another call advisor to make the transfer and asked how much we had in our tesco account! We don't know as we can't access it! Then asked what date we made the last 2 transactions to our current account! Don't know as we can't access the tesco account to find out! Checked current account, gave tesco the dates and told they couldn't check this as they where locked out of our account!! Great service! But our pin had been posted last week, takes up to 10 days to arrive. However they did say we could have 1000 clubcard points, but won't hold my breath!0

Where do they send them, via timbuktu? Probably need a pin to use the clubcard points to. I'd like to stick a few 'pins' in them...I came, I saw, I saved.

Apparently the reason we have not received these pins is because no pins were actioned by them between 8th and 17th July. Apparently they are sending yet another pin which could turn up tomorrow or in 3-5 days. Or never, like every other occasion
Promises made earlier yesterday to 'bird about being able to transfer the funds to her linked account on her behalf so she could access them (they then cut her off before actioning the transfer) proved empty when they refused to do this in the evening, because she couldn't provide ID, because they hadn't sent her a pin. More refusals to email or text a pin so that she could log in.
They seemed all too happy to offer compensation for missing out on a holiday, but on this experience, complaint letters will go missing and £50 clubcard vouchers will be lost in the ether. After all the lies, I expect the real story is that they have lost her money too. Bunch of criminals, I suggest withdrawal of your funds before it is too late for you too.I came, I saw, I saved.

After reading all these posts. just grateful I can access my funds via any Tesco store.
If I can't sort out latest problem with transfer to an already linked account, I can see it all going back to my Nationwide account!0 -
Well it happened sooner than expected. Tried to log in to check an earlier transaction, and got the dreaded "not your Regular Computer". Nothing changed that I'm aware of. The cookie seemed to be all present and correct, and one of the folders was freshly datestamped that very minute, suggesting that a new file had been created. But evidently my pc had contrived to disguise itself somehow."It will take, five, 10, 15 years to get back to where we need to be. But it's no longer the individual banks that are in the wrong, it's the banking industry as a whole." - Steven Cooper, head of personal and business banking at Barclays, talking to Martin Lewis0

Another day and still no pin, the pigeon has got lost on the way here, can be the only explanation!! Since its a joint account and DH is the first name on the account he can speak to them again tonight!! He won't be a happy bunny! He is too polite to them I would have lost the plot if it was me speaking to them!!!0

I have just got a response to my written complaint and instruction to close the account that I opened on Day 1 of the new system and funded with £1. I had been unable to get through to anyone to request a PIN and quickly lost any will to activate the account when I saw the extent of the problems.
+ I only claimed for the actual cost of of my phone calls but they paid me a greater amount of £20 anyway which goes some way to cover my inconvenience which was much less than many have experienced.
- The letter says that if I am unhappy with the way the complaint has been dealt with I should call on an 0845 number which is not included in my phone package. They give with one hand and seek to take back with the other!0 -

Don't know if your 0845 number is the same one as on my letter from Tesco's complaints team which was [STRIKE]0845 678 5678[/STRIKE], instead of using the [STRIKE]0845 678 5678[/STRIKE] number I managed to get through to the person dealing with my complaint on: 0800 015 3198
edit: 0800 015 3198 gets you through to 0845 673 9011Never let the perfume of the premium overpower the odour of the risk0 -
0845 678 5678 is in the letter head. In the penultimate paragraph is another 0845 number which may be for the person / team dealing with the complaint.0

Doh! Sorry you are correct, lets try again.......
Instead of calling the person dealing with my complaint on the 0845 673 9011 number on the letter, I got through to the complaints team on 0800 015 3198 and managed to speak to the person the letter was from.Never let the perfume of the premium overpower the odour of the risk0
