Reduced or ZERO for a week??
What was the reduced plan again?? £10 per adult??

    Lynsey

Reduced to how ever much would cover bare essentials? £10 per adult and £5 per child sounds ok. I can say for certain that I'd never be able to do a zero spend budget lol.
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

Any thoughts on when we're doing the reduced budget challenge?
I am already in training - 17 consecutive days no food spends:j.
That's any and all food spends, including bread/milk etc.
All the money I've spent this month has been on petrol, DDs and a couple of household bills that were due.
There's still a few days' worth of HM meals in the freezer plus bread for lunchtime sarnies, cheese and yoghurts in the fridge, dried fruit and nuts for snacks (plus a mango that'll never ripen), so I'm gonna try and keep going for a few more days ... wish me luck

    :)

Wow Jelly Biactol :T that's awesome.

Abel & Cole due to deliver today, just as well as down to last litre of milk. Don't like those winged milk cartons from Riverford. Think I m ay buy Calon Wen milk for weekends.

$10 per week per adult  I do $10 per week for OH for 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches and often manage to come in under budget. We had organic lamb steaks yesterday for lunch from Sainsbos.. $6. 2 organic salmon fillets from ASDA fish counter one night last week $4 (same price as non organic) = $10 spent on 2 meals for 2 adults.

Yeah I know it's a lot but no kids, car, SKY, takeaways or dinners out and don't drink now.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Jelly Biactol - well done, fantastic achievement. :T

I think I could do a no-spend-week, just need to organise on say a Saturday and freeze some bread (could bake) and milk and stock up on fruit and veg.
£10 per adult - yes, bring it on. Adjust kids spends according to age??

Spent a little today, but got quite a bit for my pennies.

    Morries:
    Bananas (56p and get 25p back from TCB), oranges (4 for 50p), carrots (1kg 50p) = £1.56
Asda: Almond milk (£1), small bloomers (2 for £1), good size cauli (50p), cookies (50p offer) = £3
    So far £4.56.

Maybe it for the day, unless I pass Sainsbury's late on - nothing needed though.
We've been invited to Toby on Wed, so an easy day.
Foodbank donation on Thursday, but not as much this month as over budget slightly. I will bulk with 5 beanz, tinned pears and Special K bits.

Welsh Poppy - try scanning the receipt and submitting online. We put £10 petrol in today (just enough space - lol) and gave Brother receipt - so a £2 freebie for him. Some new offers and will do the apples one twice.
When you do a big post, copy it as you write and saves losing it. It is frustrating!!

1kg for £1.09 which struck me as good value, but I'd be interested in any feedback about whether these pizza base mixes are any good or not (not just this brand). I seem to remember trying one many years ago, but can't remember what it was like:)

    thanx in advance

What extras are in it compared to the flour? as pizza dough recipe is fairly basic, so probably cheaper to buy a basic strong white flour and add the yeast, salt etc as supermarket strong flour is 70p ish for 1.5kg, unless the base mix is some amazing flour or something?!
