Evening all!
Had some pancakes today from the freezer. and dinner will definitely be from the fridge or freezer.
Remembered there is a some chicken wings in the freezer, so have decided to cook some for OH to have in his lunch tomorrow, along with another pasta salad of some description i think. I'm going to take a tin of soup and some bread.Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Bought a load of half price stuff in Aldi this morning and this afternoon went and got my free Goodfellas pizza from co-op - it was on bogof and I had no trouble using the voucher and got two free pizzas! I also got a Co-op truly irresistible pizza reduced to £1.50 (eaten for tea and very yummy), BOGOf Richmond sausages and three multi-packs of Kinder Bueno for 50p.
Cleggie - thanks for the salmon fishcakes recipe - I ended up not amaking them as there was only a tiny bit of mash, but I am planning to give them a go over the weekend!!
Before we had the pizza I had the intention of making a quiche with some hm pastry defrosted from freezer and some leftover gammon. I made the quiche and I also made a bacon and egg pie, but the quiche curdled for the first time ever - I don't know if it was because I used a bit of leftover half-fat creme fraiche in with the eggs and milk. Anyway kids refused to eat it and now there is loads left over. It's not actually that bad but I am not at all sure I will be able to eat all of it as it's HUGE!! The bacon and egg pie is still untouched and I am not sure what to do with it as I'm not sure if it will freeze. Freezer is bulging with frozen half price bread ATM so once that has all gone I am going to defrost it in readiness for stocking it up for winter.Jane

Ended up having a tin of lentil soup in the end even though I cooked some lentils for the chilli lol.
The chilli was lovely. Not sure ds appreciated the mild spices lol. Best train him up! I couldn't tell there was lentils in at all so will definitely put them in again.
I didn't buy anything today. The weather was crap so the least time I spent outside the better. Tomorrow I'm having the last of my sardines with salad and a pork chop for tea. I'm off to Tesco though to pick up some more xmas pressies so I'm hoping I'm good! There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. Went to my favourite Sainsbury's tonight to buy some Jordan's Cereal Bars with the £1 coupons, but they weren't priced as advertised on MySupermarket, so left it. Bought only a Thai chicken curry, reduced from £3.70 to only 19p and hubby ate it.
So only a 19p spend today, but going to Tesco tomorrow to use the Bird's Eye fishfinger coupons............I hope.
Need eggs tomorrow and stir fry for main meal. Might get some olive oil as well, if I get to Home Bargains.

NSD for me yesterday! and hopefully one today too!
Had some low cal bread out the freezer for breakfast, and lifted out some pork medallions for tea. I think i will do pork fried rice, which will also use some peas and onions which i've got kicking around the house.
Opted for a tin of soup for lunch.
I've a 5 pack of chicken breasts i didn't portion before freezing, will attempt to get just 2 out the packet for tomorrow but if not will need to cook all of them and do something inventive for our lunches for friday.Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Morning all. Decided to put the sardines back yesterday and have egg fried rice with a bit of left over ham, peas and onion for dinner today. Might spice it up a bit.
For tea it's a pork chop with a mushroom sauce and pasta I think. My freezer is full now since I used some mince and had enough chilli for tea plus an extra three meals so that's now in the freezer.
I'm off to Tesco later to get the last of ds' pressies. I'm wondering whether to leave it til after 5:30 to get some good reductions. Someone tell me off!
