    Well done, great achievement :T
What is this years target? :D

    No real target. lol
Just trying to clear a 4 drawer freezer before the end of March (if possible) and then re-start "whoopsy" shopping.

I do want to come in under £2k and that will be easy.
    But no more notebooks. :D
I'll be doing little things like this months £60 month and the odd £10 week etc, just to stay focussed.

So sad the snow has gone. :rotfl:

Forgot to mention earlier that I received the BBC Good Food email today and there's a few veggie recipes on there. Some made with cauliflower, plus there's some veggie 5 ingredient recipes. I quite fancy this.

Bearsinthewood - Hi there. Welcome to the thread. Nice to see new faces.

Thanks Jane - Hopefully when ds' speech has improved he might not need to wear them. Have you taken your dd's phone off her? Didn't think teens could live without their phones lol.

SoWorried - Good to see you. Hope you're feeling much better soon. x

Lynsey - Thanks re: fairy. Might go have a look in Asda for it, but not sure I can spare the pennies lol.
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

Christ, not sure about it being veggie but think I'd bin it due to the long list of iffy ingredients

I've no idea what would be in these three:

    Disodium guanylate
    Humectant
    Glyceryl tricetatel

    Found the first one:

Edwardia:- many thanks for the info. I now understand why you would find a veggie week challenging. I'm going to try and find a decent cookbook, one I can download to my ipad.

    Yesterday
    Breakfast - fruit
    Lunch -pistachios, dark chocolate
Tea - HM chicken soup, had lots of soup mix in it so was very filling

    Today
    Breakfast - fruit
Lunch - 2egg omlette on brown seeded toast
tea - chicken and veg from freezer

Now have used all the anchivios in the freezer:- gap!!, but need to go into meat freezer and get some chicken pieces, so gap filled!!!!
Also 'ferret men' will be bringing us some rabbit this weekend - they usually bring about 20-30 - freezer getting full again - oh dear.

If you didn't know it was gravy it would actually be hard to work out what product it was supposed to be!

Hi everyone, all the talk of gravy made me want some until I saw the list of ingredients you posted Lynsey :)

Well I've got myself into a bit of a sticky situation with DS2, the wee devil that he is, he's encouraging (read that as daring) me to run a 10k in October!! Bear in mind I haven't ran for oh nearly 23 years, I'm 48 and two stone overweight!! He's doing a half marathon and he challenged my training 'suggestions' and it was all downhill from there haha. Sensible head is saying don't be daft but stubborn head is saying go for it, you'll be healthy, fit and show him :) We'll see.

On topic, last night in Sainsbury's while waiting for my little darling to finish football, I got a yummy New York cheesecake for 60p, beetroot for 20p, 3 packs of chestnut mushrooms at 19p per pack and 2 mangos for 19p each. Really happy with my little trawl.

Really wet and windy here so no lunchtime walk for me. Hot soup and sandwich to keep me warm.

    Take care all x
