Four freezers? Wow, that's quite a challenge you are tackling, but I like your 'freezer shop' strategy:)
It makes my half-a-fridge-freezer look a bit pathetic by comparison :rotfl:
So, who on this thread has got the most freezer space - number of freezers or in, say, cubic feet or whatever?'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

We have two freezers - one in the fridge freezer inside the house (not sure how big but it is a tall one) and a huge 18cuft chest freezer in the garage. They are usually both full!3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

Lynsey - The internet problem is something to do with the line or the box, I think, from what the tech guy was saying. I'm now plugged into a test socket which did the trick until this morning. Seems ok right now tho.
Don't know how close you are to me, but we've had a fault at the exchange and have no Internet and we cannot hear anything on our phone line. I'm using 3G on my phone at the moment.0 -
We have a large fridge freezer which is half and half and a large chest freezer......I have freezer envy...Zafiro

Evening all.
zafiro1984 - lol at your x-ray quip. Made me smile. Wishes to you.
ms_night_ryder - very large prawns (crevettes).
Welsh Poppy - hope you and Mr WP have a lovely evening.
Spent a little on food today in Home Bargains. Just some Red Sky crisps @ 59 (just 1 packet), 4 tins of chopped tomatoes for £1, 4 sachets of curry for £1 (hubby will have Quorn chicken style pieces during veggie week) and a couple of packs of cherry throat sweets @ 19p each - so just £2.97 on food things.
Got the birds some seeds, twice. They are worth it though.
M&S Outlet Shop - hubby got a fantastic bargain today with the Manager's Specials. Jacket from £110 down to £18.99 and the trousers £69 down to £11.99 - under £31 for a £179 suit. I got bits and Mr Lynsey might be pleased also.
2013 food spends = £38.26 and almost £22 to last a week - it will be tight to come in under £60 for the month!!

Hi all - hope you are all having a good day!
Lynsey what is the cupcake groupon? Thanks for the aldi supersix offers info!
Katskorner - I did my tax return about 10 days ago - I still had to pay some tax though, but it wasn't too bad!
Kirri - the stilton pasta does sound nice - I am really funny about stilton though. I sometimes really like it and sometimes I think it tastes like sweaty feet smell!
had a funny day today and haven't used up much food - went to the sandwich shop and got a soup and barm cake- it was really nice but incredibly filling so I haven't had any tea yet. Last night I was watching great british comic relief bake off and I got a real baking urge so I went and made some old fashioned shortbread - I had forgotten how nice it was -
today my new mini oven came and I am thrilled with it!

The Groupon was a local offer for £5 and we had lots of £5 credits - so a freebie. In fact with a little cashback we get paid to eat and drink. Can't wait for the Groupon credits to return.
Please keep the snow on your side - my paths and drive are lovely.

Evening all.
Tea turned out nice, despite it being more like a bulgur wheat risotto in the end lol. The steak was lovely and tender. Ds enjoyed it and had a bowl full. I added chili and lemon juice to mine.
Spent more than I wanted today. £15 on electric, 4 packs of anchor butter at 50p each, which have gone in the freezer, and milk.
Don't know about meals tomorrow, have some breaded fish that needs using up. Still haven't used the sausage meat or pork mince, will make sure I use at least one pack next week!Don't know how close you are to me, but we've had a fault at the exchange and have no Internet and we cannot hear anything on our phone line. I'm a bit more up north, and I think the fault is just with mine, as my dad's net is fine. Could be the weather tho affecting things? There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
