Asda do a pack of 3 for £3 - I bought them for xmas and used them to make Cookie Mix Jars as gifts for kids -

Arrabiatta sauce (from freezer) and pasta for tea, and sandwiches (with HM bread) for lunch, so another NSD :j
Thanks, everyone, for the recommendations about glass storage jars - much appreciated :T'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

Kirri - hope it was okay at the vets.
ended up making the salmon fishcakes but didn't cook them - will do them tomorrow. Ended up having some chicken mini fillets which were dated today, with potato skins and Heinz barbecue beans, which were very nice. We will have the salmon fishcakes tomorrow night.
NSD today, but will need to go to the supermarket tomorrow to get a couple of bits. I wanted to try and get panko breadcrumbs but don't know where sells them. My Sainsburys and Tescos don't sell them.
I ordered a delonghi mini oven from Debenhams online - reduced from £150 to £60 in the blue cross sale. I decided it would be better than a halogen oven and it looks really smart and retro too.Jane

blackandwhitebunny - lots of cats but do you have any bunnies ?
QUOTE]
Edwardia - Bunny is my OH nickname for me. I tried to register initially as blackandwhitekitty but it was already taken. We do have lots of cats 5 and a half in fact.
Kirri - I hope you got to the vet okay and it wasn't too pricey.
Well lamb creation was a success, the packet had four neck pieces and a funny best end of neck sort of rack piece. I cut as much of the meat off as I could, browned it and then browned the bones, added an onion, about a third of a jar of balti paste, most of a bottle of pasata and some water. Cooked it for ages and then took any extra meat off the bones and fished them out. It was nummy:DI was off to conquer the world but I got distracted by something sparkly

Evening
Today OH had toast for breakfast, spag bol for lunch (he made 6 portions of the sauce yesterday, so enough for 12 meals. Most have gone in the freezer) and hot dog sausages for tea _pale_.
For myself the only thing i have managed today is a scoop of ice cream. I am just getting over the flu.

Hi All,
Have decided to have party earlier but will overlap the other one by 15 minute so if they want to leave early then it will not be drastic! Written all of the invites tonight. DS2 is happy. Let's hope it goes to plan. Thanks everyone.
Food tonight for us is HM lasagne from July with salad and ciabatta from freezer. Kids had more of yesterday's casserole and freshly made mashed potato. It went down well with the kids - mostly but DS3 is hard work at mealtimes atm. He said he was full and then keeps getting out of bed asking for a banana... grrrrrrrr. Not giving him one.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

Evening all.
Had a lush tea tonight, chicken in a bbq sauce, onion rings, chips, roasted red pepper and peas. Well and truly stuffed! Thinking of having steak and kidney pudding tomorrow for tea.
Had to sort out my freezer yesterday as I couldn't get anything else in it. Bit more space now, but won't be buying for a while. Didn't take my bag out today, so couldn't go spending.
Kirri - hope your pet is ok, which animal is it?
Jelly Biactol - glad you're feeling better now.
And hope you're feeling better soon DanielleNic87There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
Lipstick you sound happy and full, I take it the ex popped round?
did you give him sausages
?
Had pancakes for dessert with the Apple butter, so damn good! Decided to do pasta tomorrow with either a tomato sauce or remaining chicken campbells soup.
Went to Mr w, after finally being paid yay! Spent £3.77 2 packs of 6 pancakes, a iceberg lettuce, 2 cartons of welchs, a bag of popchips and a 2 pint of the freebie.milk pancakes reduced and money off. Back tomorrow as the POP chip and welchs offer ends so I want to get a few more. 2 pints of freebie milk in freezer, back to being full but not much meat there loads of carbs though.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

 I don't know what you're insinuating ms_night_ryder, but I just know if I mention the ex's sausages, it's going to sound all wrong.

Won't be having a dinner, tea is BBQ chicken. Ds' dad will be popping over so will probably do him some, but will make it up with the cheap fiery sausages I got lol.
Lmao lipstick do you know how many times I have looked at your last post and.literally howled with laughter? A lot, you mentioned.it on the post before, but now I'm thinking it must have been code, sibling for ds perhaps, my question was totally genuine, caravaning on Valentines with the ex, offerings of fiery sausage, not sure I can take much more this thread tbh lol.Lose 28lb 3/28lb
