HM parmesan chicken, roastie mini pots, broccoli and cauli
Wanted a pud so used a recipe on here (that I saved about 5 years ago!) for chocolate microwave pud - stuck some nutella in the bottom of the bowl so had a lovely chooccie sauce...kids well impressed, isn't it amazing how a bit of home cooking cheers everyone up
Ah good old 5 minute chocolate cake.
Takes me back to my student days! :rotfl:0 -
Morning All, well first things first phew no fish brought home last night, they did catch a Pollock but not big enough to bring home, atleast they enjoyed themselves. Everyone at home today as kids on holiday and oh took 2 days holiday. Food plan so far is kids had scrambled eggs on toast, were having toast. Lunch soup, tea is going to be lasagne and salade. It's really cold and frosty here. Have a nice day all.0

Morning all. Not a bad day here, hope it lasts!!
Just toast for breakfast and hubby had Honey Clusters again.
Change of plans as we have to pick MIL up, so bangers and mash tomorrow - just snack today.
Trying a big Sainsbury's later to see if there's any reduced stuff for food donations. I'll get some more Beanz anyway (coupon ends 1 week tomorrow - scary) and perhaps some more Bertolli.

Just used some of the ready mix dough I got in T's yesterday, made four cookies and put the rest back. Can probably get about eight cookies out of each tub and the tubs are nice to use for individual freezer portion stuff, so a win win all the way0 -
Need to empty the freezer of stuff that we've been carting through two house moves
Had a quorn lamb fillet toasted sandwich for lunch
as there was only one left and I don't really like them, lol, and bought baps the other day to use up two burgers in the freezer left over from the summer - will also use some bacon from fridge & cheese slices hanging around with fries also from the freezer.
Also used up 4 overripe frozen banana's in some baby friendly banana muffinsUnfortunately just had to replace them as didn't eat the fresh banana's in time - goddamit.
Have a LOAD of puff pastry to use up, though I suppose it's not too early for hm mince pies0 -
Just had the shopping delivered, £32.30 (2 adults) for the week and that includes feeding two dogs and 4 cans of beer for one of the horses. I can remember spending over £100 per week before I took a serious look at exactly what I was spending my money on.
Hm ham flan for tea, chocolate chip brownies afterwards, they are busy cooking as I write - smell delish.... recipe from Mary Berry.
Freezers not emptying fast enough but on a positive note the slower they empty the more I have to make meals without spending too much. 'swings and rounderbouts'
Tin opener broke today- sad0
