Morning all.
Picked up some more Beanz yesterday, mainly just to get the extra 20p off shop with every 2 coupons - they (Beanz) will be donated, so all benefit .................. well maybe apart from Heinz!!
Bought:
4 x Heinz 5 Beanz @ 2 for £1.50 = £3
2 x Dried onions (reduced) @ 25p = 50p
1 x Ainsley Harriott croutons (reduced) @ 17p
1 x large bloomer (reduced) @ 65p
Sub total = £4.32
Used 4 x Heinz coupons (scanned 85p) - minus £3.40
Total = 92p
They didn't have any McCains chips left (£1 offer ones), so I'll get them from Tesco.
Just toast for breakfast and definitely getting rid of fish-fingers today, might have to make HM chips if I don't get to Tesco today.
Fingers crossed at Asda for the free Matchmakers, got "trouted" last time in Asda. If no joy, I'll use Morries - £1.12 there, so only 12p to pay.
I've been [STRIKE]ab[/STRIKE]using the £5 Groupon credits, got loads this week on multiple accounts and there's a £5 local offer. lol
Going via Topcashback and they (Groupon) are paying us (21p) to drink 2 coffees and eat 4 cupcakes. :money:

Morning all, well the food plan today will be pretty much the same as yesterday. They caught nothing and then they phoned to say not to bother making them tea so the girls wanted fish fingers, chips and spaghetti hoops so that's what we had. Not planing doing anything today, just the usual. Cathch up later.0

I have loads of those £5 groupons too but they expire tomorrow but nothing decent on the local or nearby offers
.
Printed out 2 nouvelle £1 coupons from FB tonight so adding those to the stash I am trying to build.
Dinner tonight is lamb chops for boys with pots and veg but not sure what we are having as still full from lunch of YS salad and soup from Mr T.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

Trying to lose weight
bran flakes with fruit & yogurt for breakies
HM leek and pot soup lunch
roast chicken tonight, prob with just veg, broccoli, sweetcorn and anything else in the fridge.
Need to lose 2 stone be4 I have an op on my hip.
Made pea and ham soup with ham stock left over from a gammon I had in the slow cooker plus a bag of frozen peas and a bit of onion, that's in the freezer and didn't cost much at all. Made some bread and butter pudding using the crusts you slice off bread when you make toasted sandwiches, that's for DH's pudding tonight, again little cost as the eggs come free. There's enough breadcrumbs to coat some fish for tomorrow or shall I freeze them?? decisions decisions!!
Off to see who is looking at some eBay items I have listed. In answer to Ms Night Ryder and my age I have over 44yrs of accumulated items bought since being married to get rid of as I have finally decided to get rid of everything I don't use anymore. I have an entire bedroom stacked floor to ceiling of unopened boxes to plough my way through since moving here and that was 6yrs ago - oh - I was a child bride!!!0 -
Had cereal for brekkie and lunch was steak from freezer hm chips and leftover peas and carrots leftover from sunday lunch. Might have a scone with butter and cherry jam in a bit.
have no idea about tomorrow yet. Might just see what i, sorry hubby can cook from frozen :rotfl:Looking for bargains anywhere i can :hello:0 -
Hello everyone, been at work this week so haven't been around much. I am also working as a Count Assistant in the Police Elections tomorrow, gonna be a late night tomorrow - estimated to finish around 1am in the morning and then 9-4ish Friday, however, we shall see the turnout of voters - it isn't expected to be high
Haven't spent a penny all week!!!
Dinner last night was defrosted bolognese recycled into lasagne
Tonight was hm pizza made using a packet of warburton wraps, frozen chips and a bit of salad (am running low on salad now) have got a £5 off coupon for this week so do intend to do a shop on Saturday
cannot decide what to make tomorrow for dinner - am thinking something chicken in slowcook
I need to start printing and using coupons - but i read on the voucher thread that morrisons and asda are no longer accepting internet vouchers - hoping this is not true!0 -

I had a shock when I opened my inside freezer earlier.... there was a fair bit of space! I nearly fell over in shock!
But it is filled again because I went to Mr T and there was loads of reduced sandwich meat. I had two huge bags shopping including 5 x heinz beans and I paid a grand total of 84p due to the coupons and multibuy reductions that worked even on the reduced stuff... so tonight we are having courtesy of mr T, garlic and herb salmon fillets, broccoli and trimmed beans, samphire, fresh olives and mozzerella with sundried tomatoes... can't be bad can it?
Right now I have actually just eaten it I have to re-describe it:
Well. That was a meal and a half. Fresh garlic and herb marinated salmon fillets lightly pan-fried in a touch of chilli oil, accompanied with samphire (first time of trying and it is delish!!), tenderstem broccoli and green beans, with mozzerella, sun-dried tomatoes and queen olives... all cooked at home..... Nom Nom Nom .....
And I reckon it cost about 15p each....3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

Great shop katskorner - nice to see.
Don't miss the free Welch's Grape Juice HERE
I've just printed 6, you need a different email address for each 1 - 2 per pc.
£2 in Tesco, but coupon should scan @ £2.59.
Bought a few things tonight and loads dearer than katskorner.
Sainsbury's:
2 x Heinz 5 Beanz @ 2 for £1.50
4 pints 1% milk @ £1
TTD Chilli Jelly (reduced) @ 20p
Pack tea-cakes (reduced) @ 39p
Sub total = £3.09
Used 2 x Heinz coupons (scanned @ 85p) - minus £1.70
Total = £1.39
Dearest I've paid for tea-cakes in ages, but last pack and they (Sainsbury's) deserve a break. lol
The Chilli Jelly will go in Son's hamper - should have bought more I suppose??
Took out 4 pork medallions for tomorrow to have with veg, probably roasted again!!
Thinking of hitting Tesco tomorrow as I've got a £2 off £20 and a £1.50 Clubcard coupon. 6 x grape juice and 5 Beanz will almost get me there along with the last Special K Moments. They might owe me money once the coupons come off. :rotfl:
Going to the "naughty" Asda also for the Matchmakers - fingers crossed.

Well.done.kat, sounds yummy. Lynsry chilli jam sounds nice.
Think I am going to do the Mr t online shop with the codes next week, freezer is still full.
Had leftover smoothie for breakfast, haddock and veg for lunch, ww meal for dinner, so.doing well there, need to take something out for dinner tomorrow, there.is a lot to.choose from, thinking either chicken or burgers, both Mr w reduced.
If I do the Mr t shop, I will only use coupons in normal shops and will stock up on frozen fruit and veg, get some alcohol as well and finally.get my ham joints, that will work out well.Lose 28lb 3/28lb
