Just used some of the ready mix dough I got in T's yesterday, made four cookies and put the rest back. Can probably get about eight cookies out of each tub and the tubs are nice to use for individual freezer portion stuff, so a win win all the waySkint_Catt wrote: »Need to empty the freezer of stuff that we've been carting through two house movesHad a quorn lamb fillet toasted sandwich for lunch
as there was only one left and I don't really like them, lol, and bought baps the other day to use up two burgers in the freezer left over from the summer - will also use some bacon from fridge & cheese slices hanging around with fries also from the freezer.
Also used up 4 overripe frozen banana's in some baby friendly banana muffinsUnfortunately just had to replace them as didn't eat the fresh banana's in time - goddamit.
Have a LOAD of puff pastry to use up, though I suppose it's not too early for hm mince pieszafiro1984 wrote: »Just had the shopping delivered, £32.30 (2 adults) for the week and that includes feeding two dogs and 4 cans of beer for one of the horses. I can remember spending over £100 per week before I took a serious look at exactly what I was spending my money on.
Hm ham flan for tea, chocolate chip brownies afterwards, they are busy cooking as I write - smell delish.... recipe from Mary Berry.
Freezers not emptying fast enough but on a positive note the slower they empty the more I have to make meals without spending too much. 'swings and rounderbouts'
Tin opener broke today- sad
Dinner sounds lovely
I hve made the same observation - although we are eating out of kitchen there is no dent in our supplies...long may that continue!!

Isn't beer good for horses coats? In the same way it adds shine if we rinse ours with beer? Or am I just drunk? lol
Just decided tomorrow nights dinner is pasta (already in cupboard) with freezer Ikea meatballs (yum) and cheese sauce. SortedJust need whole milk for little madam tomorrow!
Considering I put together a £130 shopping list on mysupermarket.com I'm doing pretty well without buying much on it!!0 -

Hey all.
Did a really good shop £21.98 down to £8.98 after coupons, got a tub of celebrations had a £3 voucher, ww meal x2 packs of frankfurters, a bag of value frozen mixed berries, a pack of clems, special k crisps, 2 bottles of copella,2 5 beans and some other stuff, I used £12 worth of coupons and a till spit, my best bargain was Campbell's 4 pack of cup a soup for 10p got 10 but i put o.e at 71p in, was heading out, so I changed it for 7 of the 10p packs instead, all flavours, asparagus, cream of chicken, cream of.tom, ministone, potato and leek, so my donations for December look good, also gave the 2 boxes a boost, will take some to my grams for her church donations, also one pack was out of date, will take that back and I could only use one frankfurters coupon.
Really busy day, with aot of Jobs done, shopping and boxercise, ended up in the jacuzzi lush!
Have taken out 4 pittas and some cheesy haddock, will make something with that tomorrow, also got some Bacon from my grandma yesterday, so no more shopping needed this week.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

Ms night ryder - I'm impressed with the total amout of your shop. I thought I did well with mine but it's not in the same class as yours - brill...Skint_Catt wrote: »Isn't beer good for horses coats? In the same way it adds shine if we rinse ours with beer? Or am I just drunk? lol
Sorry folks - This one drinks his beer. Well it actually acts as a mild laxative, he's 18yrs and has a bit of trouble in that department, so to prevent him having colic he has half a can a day, however, he's very discerning in the taste, nothing cheap, it has to be dark and very 'hoppy' one thing he does do is to stick his tongue out afterwards, he likes it being tickled - things we do for our pets!!:rotfl:we had another one that drank orange juice straight out of the carton, but then again he was Spanish. lol0 -
Pretty much learnt it from robinha lol, would have been cheaper if I hadn't panicked at the last min and added stuff lol, also if they accepted ny other coupon, at least I'm done for the week Lol, happy about that.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

Morning all, well the boys are away fishing so we'll see later how they get on. Going to do some baking with the girls in a while, when they eventually decide to get up and get dressed and washed !!. Meal plan for today is brekkie-toast for me, girls probably cereal, lunch noodles or soup, tea either sausages and pasta or chicken stuffed with phili wraped in bacon with mashed tatties, mashed carrot and neep and cheese sauce decisions. Well that's the plan so far. Catch up later and have a nice day all.0
