Afternoon all, had a busy morning!!

Had to take MIL to Nestle Factory Shop to pick up order.
Bought:
6 x Nescafe refills (150g) @ £1.20 = £7.20
6 x Nescafe Cafe Parisien (100g) @ £1.10 = £6.60
6 x After Eight Mints (300g) @ 48p = £2.88
6 x Aero Biscuit Bars @ 19p = £1.14
4 x Fudge (250g) @ 49p = £1.96
Total = £19.78 (hammered £60 4 week budget, but I'll still do it ............ hopefully)

The fudge was bagged up Quality Street (I think) chocolate fudge - should have got more.
All perfect and classed as Grade B, only the corner of a box of After Eight was slightly squashed. Opened and tried a few After Eights just to make sure they were OK. Tried the fudge also and both were OK. lol
I'll probably not go there again until next year unless they have the Gold Blend on offer.

Had toast for breakfast, make some bread and hubby's had bacon butties (in hot bread).
Cooked sausages for later in onion gravy and decided to have with jacket potato and sweetcorn.

Just managed to print off 6 Nestle £1 chocolate coupons, so hopefully free Matchmakers from Asda tomorrow.

Probably do Sainsbury's tonight to get a couple of Beans and have a look.

Was too slow for the matchmakers today, still have a box from last week.

Had a fruit smoothie for breakfast, grapefruit, mixed berries and half a tin of pears, splash of copella, really nice, had my 5 a day, lunch was a ww meal, i have another that expires today, but it is the chilli which i am not keen on certainly won't eat 2 for the day, haddock tonight with mange tout and sweetcorn.

Thinking of going to mr s, need to change the soup, will get 5 beans, hopefully discounted bc, didnt realise you could use 3 coupons at ss under £2.50, will try it today, i need veg really, will see what they have.

Had cereal for brekkie, roast beef sandwich for lunch then burgers chips and beans from freezer and cupboard.

Only spent £11 on essential groceries today and not planning any shopping until friday.

Had a friend here this lunchtime - toasted sandwiches and chocolate brownies so I have eaten far too much.

Tea - soup for me probably leek and pot that's easy to do, but I find it doesn't freeze well, mine always looks like a felt mat when it's been in the freezer.

DH lambs hearts, cooked ages ago and frozen, with baked pot, veg, choc brownies and custard, that's an easy tea as I must get on and list some eBay things. Saving up to buy some of that mirrored/glass furniture for the guest room.

Ms Night Ryder - did I read you didn't need any more shopping this week or was I having a senior moment? lol

Yes i did say that, but then realised i didnt have enough veg to get me through, just cans of sweetcorn.

So popped into mr w got buttery veg reduced, crispy potatoes and a mixed bag of veg, had the potatoes and buttery veg with the haddock, so yummy! have enough veg to now last the week, haha no more shopping.

Plenty of potatoes and veg left for tomorrow.

still done really well and spent £11 not lower than last week or week before but still good.
