Thanks for the heads up on the beanz lynsey - still could use more yet before the date.

What is the WW Meals coupon? Can I still get that one?

The birthday party went well - used up a little freezer stuff but didn't go mad as didn't want loads left over. Spent loads of time running round chasing kids and playing with them so tonight having a chicago town pizza (large one 99p from mr t a few weeks ago)..

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all.

    katskorner - WW coupon HERE

The Greek yogurts are 3 for £3 in Asda - use 3 yogurt coupons and 50p per pack of 4 - I think they're too sweet and prefer Oykos.

Just toast for breakfast, hubby's having Honey Clusters.
Pasta bake just needs reheating, so easy day.

Printed off quite a few Heinz 5 Beanz, so probably try Sainsbury's today - I want till spits and they seem to be giving loads out at the minute.
Budget for the week is £10 MAX.

    Catch up tonight.

Sorry about recent problems but folks here do help. I dont think you have any trouble at the moment with all your stocks and I would also suggest you get onto the coupons thread. I have "bough" about 100 cans of beans - have only used 2 myself, the others have gone to food bank, I have also had loads of Greens, ditto food bank. It makes me feel better that I have helped others even though I do not have much money to spare. Good luck on your stash, keep that up. Consider making own bread, it tastes better and you can make fresh as and when you need it. I use instant tea with milk powder in it, I usually only make a cup for me every so often.
    Best of luck

    Thank you for your condolences,
re the bread maker I gave mine to the neighbour as I don`t eat much bread, I buy Hovis 50/50 and just take out a few slices as I want them,I do like Aldi part baked ciabatta rolls ,I have a halogen oven so pop them in there for cooking only takes a few minutes.
I stopped buying fresh milk and only buy powdered now as I don`t take milk in coffee and only have 1 or 2 cups of tea a day ,which I put powdered milk in.
I have run out of fresh potatoes so will have to use a tin if I want spuds today 21p in Aldi. or I could use 1 of the 8 packets of B/E rice fusions in freezer,BOGOF, or 1 of the 6 packets of cous cous,or some of the dry polenta, need some inspiration here I think.
Do I need it or just want it.

donnajt - I'm sorting a foodbank box out today and may pop down later with it. Trying another foodbank this time at a Church.

Thanks Lynsey - how did you find your local Foodbanks? I have searched online and only found one being planned via Trussell Trust

Do you just turn up and hand your donation over? and are their restrictions as to what you can donate? I was wondering if there is any mad H&S that you might tamper with food, do they accept toiletries and cleaning products?

    Back here where I belong.

well its 14 days until payday and must say what we have is rather dire mix thanks to trusting hubby to do the shopping alone going to have to spend bit more before payday and lost track of months spend now 25th-25th reckon least 200 possibly up to to 300.

hubby forgot red stockcubes would it be wierd to make sausage casserole woth chicken or veg ones? we have sausages which can then serve with rice as ran out potatoes and chips are low.

run out bread-going round corner shop later
we also could do more milk/sugar and fruit
milkmans comming tommorow but seems to be getting later and need something for eldests packed lunch

have tins tuna and sweetcorn for sandwiches. at least

we out fruit, yogurts, crisps and biscuits

we have onions frozen peas and sweetcorn.

    I have couple eggs
    2packet mixes pasta in sauce
3cartons passatta but no tined tomatoes
    some herbs and spices

    half pot philadelphia
    2whole tubs butter
    half block cheese.
    1 wrinkled chilli
    half pot pickle!
2slices corned beef which will do hubbys sandwiches tommorow.

    right plan is

    defrost sausages in micro
and do sausage casserole and rice with chicken stock and passatta.

defrost steaks cut up fry and add curry sauce and add rice.

right now doing spaggetti and passata with corned beef and grated cheese for late lunch as kids snacked on toast and cereal this morning.

T's shop today was more of a success that I bargained for!
Will just note down the coupons/bargains/yellow stickered stuff, dont think anyone is too interested about full price stuff! lol.

Amount in red is the price I paid :)

Fairy Non Bio Gel 24 washes: yellow labeled from £7.19 to £4.00, used £1.00 off coupon - £3.00
Cushelle loo roll: £2.18, used 50p off coupon - £1.68
Velvet Almond Milk loo roll: £1.85, used 50p off coupon - £1.35
Small steak pie: was £1.95 reduced to 98p
Herta Frankfurters £1.90, used £1.00 coupon so 90p
Tomato and mozzerella pasta bake: was £3.00, reduced to £1.80
Large pasta carbonara: was £4.95, reduced to £2.97
Individual Mars Bar - was 59p, used a coupon I got inside a maltesers pack earlier in the week for a free bar of chocolate, so free
Walls sausages: were £3.00, reduced to £1.80
4 pack of burgers: were £3.50, reduced to £1.40
Weightwatchers chocolate mini rolls x 8 packs: £1.00 each normally - got them for 35p each so £2.80 :T

    Overall managed to get shop from £72.49 down to £60.40 using coupons mentioned + 1 x £5 T's coupon and 1 x £3 T's coupon. :j

Pasta bakes (both) have been separated - the largest one into four portions, smaller one into three portions, now in freezer for ready meals after work.
Will have the steak pie tomorrow night and keep the frankfurters for emergencies. :)

Don't know if anyone has seen it, but saw cookie dough in tubs on the end of the dairy aisle today - bogof, each little tub is £3. They have single chocolate, double chocolate, and oaty flavours. Bought some to try, as it is I love raw cookie dough. Expiry date of about 2-3 weeks on it, so nice for those of you that have grandkids.

Also got till spit of £5 off £40 so will use that on our next big shop end of month/start of next.

Side note - had a sachet of Quaker Oats this morning, was very nice and a good freebie, may get some more when I go to A's next but still have boxes of cereal, but good for the cold mornings!

    Evenin all!
Gailey- I cook casserole with any stock and it tastes fine to me! ;)

theatregirl - good bargains well done! :)
I have a box of oats about to go out of date so might eat them up for breakkie while the weather is cold!!

Have put in one more online order before xmas as had a voucher for free delivery , am hoping I can sort the freezer around in order to fit stuff in! Hoping it can be a tactical shop and will see us through well into the new year!!(gonna do a pre-xmas drop off to foodbank place as well)

Thinking of setting a 2013 target to average around £100 p/m am thinking 3 sets of 4 months £400 as it has felt a bit more manageable to do it this way! Lynsey I might need your help with all the coupons/bargains you manage! :rotfl:

Leftovers used up for every meal today and more for lunch and dinner tomorrow! casserole bubbling away in the oven - smells yummy!
