Had a decent sort of today, decided to pop out as loads of coupons to use and I want to get rid of as many as possible before the weekend.

    Tesco:
    8 x Goplana chocolate (reduced) @ 25p = £2
    2kg sugar (hooray) @ £1.74
    2 x Fairy Platinum @ £1 = £2
    2 x L'Oreal wipes @ £1.50 = £3
    1 x L'Oreal shampoo @ £1.89
    2 x Fabreeze aerosols @ £2 = £4
    2 x Special K cereal @ £2.50 = £5
    1 x Special K biscuits @ £1.99
    Sub total = £21.62
    Coupons used 2 x 50p Fairy (50p each), 1 x L'Oreal £2.50, 1 x L'Oreal £1.50, 2 x £1 Fabreeze, 2 x Special K £2.50 (cereal value), 1 x Special K £1.99 (biscuits value), £2 off £20 spend - minus £15.99
    Total = £5.63
Chocolate free with £2 off £20, so food spend = £1.74

    Sainsbury's:
    2 x Special K crisps @ £1.99 = £3.98
    1 x WW Thai meal = £3
    Black pudding (reduced @ 10p 100g) = 97p
    Sub total = £7.95
    Coupons used 2 x Special K £1.99 (value of crisps), 1 x WW £2.99 - 1p to pay for ready meal.
    Total = 98p

Food total so far = £2.72

I could have only bought 1 pack of L'Oreal wipe and had an extra £1 off my Tesco shop, but I like the wipes and @ 2 packets for 50p ............... I'll not be greedy. :D

Have a lood out at Tesco for the 25p chocolate (100g bar), they must be clearing it. I'll pop that in Son's parcel ................... I don't eat chocolate. :rotfl:

Probably using up quite a few coupons tomorrow, but want to keep enough for Tesco next week to use another £2 off £20 coupon. I'll use the £2 to get extra foodbank stuff.

Took out what I hope are turkey breasts to have tomorrow with roast veg and blue cheese sauce.

I'll pop into Sainsbury's later and maybe use the last 2 Special K crisp coupons, though I'm going to a massive Sainsbury's tomorrow and might use them then.

  • Thanks Lynsey - nice to know there are others that plan a massive coupon shop lol. I'm going to attempt a good size coupon shop on Friday over T's and A's, hoping I'll be lucky and be able to get everything I need to get.
  • Just popped out, got ww salmon meal, a pack of fresh mint reduced, a pack of yeo yogurt tubes and a reduced pack of apricot crossaint £1.94 to pay, the guy gave me £1 off my shop :)

Sainsburys a ww meal chilli and a bar of.lindt £1.01 to pay oh and a £1 on some satsumas.

No more shopping this week, except using coupons for freebies I just dont need it, coupons run out 5/11 so will use before then, as I have some jobs to do tomorrow around sw London.

    Morning all.

No further spends yesterday, but I'll get a few things today. I want to get almost all the free Special K stuff today and just leave enough Special K coupons for a Tesco shop next week.

Hubby tried the WW meals, both the Thai curry and piri piri one and didn't really rate any of them. I'll try and get the sag aloo one later and the veggie one, but won't be maxing up on WW meals. I'll use up the coupons printed and give the meals away ................... I'll keep the Nectar points. lol

Baking bread today, proving now and ready to pop in oven. When baked we are having bacon butties and then popping out.

What I thought were turkey steaks turned out to be a large chicken breast!! I'll have that with roast veg and took hubby out some chilli belly pork slices - created a little space for some sweetcorn.

ms_night_ryder - reminds me to check the Groupon deals, I've got quite a few to use up from the "glitch" days. I might give a couple of those away. I'll be using them up from next week when my £60 for 4 weeks budget spends.

PS: forgot to add the 2 x £1 Fabreeze coupons to my Tesco shop yesterday, but the total deduction was the same.

The WW Butternut Squash and Mozzarella Risotto is acceptable. It's pretty tasteless but ok with a bit of sea salt on it. Not too shabby for free really!

Used 3 Special K freebie coupons in Sainsbos today. Planning a full on attack of coupon spending in Mr A and Sains tomorrow, then hopefully all the freebies will be purchased before their expiry date next week. Special K have been very generous!

  • Afternoon all.

Have had the 2 apricot crossaints for breakfast, had another ww meal piri piri, these are nice so will get more, also have had a cup of fresh mint tea, also boiled some corn, 2 will be frozen once I make a space, last of the pasta bake with corn on cob for dinner.

I am going to take out a pack of mince to do a chilli tomorow, mange tout and lots of broccoli to be used, nsd today, will go and get the freebies and do jobs tomorrow instead. Will use up some of the jacket potatoes tomorrow, might do all 4 at once and freeze what I dont use.

Hmm the WW meal reviews ^^ aren't inspiring me so far to go and pick one up!

My food using up plan gone exactly to plan so far this week, have used up all that was planned. Had the soup I still don't really like for lunch today (another 14 portions left!) topped off with roasted sweetcorn and bread and have left out one portion of the veg bolognaise tonight (rest is frozen for December). Though I still have 5 non vegan biscuits to use up tonight and as I don't think they will freeze (?) I am wondering whether to eat them for dinner instead of wasting them and freeze the bolognaise instead..

Am going to miss my buttered toast tomorrow - I have some sunflower and soya spread instead :( Will disguise the taste with marmite..

Moroccan stew coming out the freezer later for tomorrow but after the soup today I don't fancy another sloppy dinner so soon but won't be able to get to the shops for anything more inspiring I don't think. Suppose I could have the pasta and beans though..

Evening all, got rid of quite a few coupons today.

    Freebies:
    4 x WW ready meals
    6 x Special K Moments biscuits
    2 x Special K cracker crisps
    1 x Special K red berries cereal

    Bought:
    4 x tins Ambrosia custard @ 50p = £2
    2 x Fun size sweets (halloween) @ £1 = £2
    Total = £4

Also used a couple of Tesco £1 Fairy conditioner coupons in Morries, so another 2 1.4 litre bottles for £1 each.
Also got some reduced flowers for 58p lol
Gave 1 Fairy and 1 WW meal away. Giving away most of the other ones (WW) also, just hoping they go on BOGOF and I'll take advantage then (fingers crossed).

Halloween is very quiet in my little cul-de-sac now, despite being very, very busy a few years back. Not many little ones about now!! Sad, but saves getting up every 5 or 10 minutes. :D

Never got to Aldi, but will before the weekend. I want to buy bits before/on Saturday to take some pressure off my £60 stint.

Hubby's thinking of trying the Special K Honey Clusters tomorrow. I don't eat much cereal now.
