Edwardi - the one to look for is this one:
ASDA Extra Special Fairtrade Organic Latin American Coffee (227g)
No shopping so far, but will try Sainsbury's tonight about 8pm.
Made a pear crumble with the 15p tinned pear quarters, but forgot I still have 2 bags of "whoopsy" apples to use up!!!
Good job the Sainsbury's fruit lasts well.

I got some really good bargains on ys today, and wondered if anyone could help with a question I have?
I got 2 cauliflowers for 10p each, 2 bags of carrots, cauliflower and broccoli for 10p each and some other veg. They say not suitable for freezing, but do you think these would be ok if I out them in the freezer? I just want them to last a little longer if possible, rather than eating them all up quickly for the sake of it.
The cream I got, wrapped chicken breasts, lasagne and other bi to are already in the freezer, and the box of four cream cakes I got for 11p definitely won't be hanging around! I got over £20 of food for £1.93!0 -

I shouldn't have gone out ..................... but great meat bargains tonight in Sainsbury's all at 75%+ off.
I bought pork joints, packs of TTD diced beef, packs of pork chops and sausages.
Spent £9.02, but got loads and loads. Must have got approx £40 worth of stuff, easily.
I've never seen as much reduced meat in one go in ages, if at all.
Sadly I haven't got the space, but there were loads of large chickens and even more Guinea fowl all at around £1.49. Basics lamb cutlets etc, etc, etc., I could easily have filled a freezer tonight ................. but mine are full!!!
After all the excitement, I forgot the milk. lol
Need to get milk tomorrow and some veg and that's it.
The other thing they had loads of was single cream for 10p, I wouldn't be able to use it, so left it.
No Spam Fritters either, but hopefully another day.
I must get that spare freezer up and running and stocked up, especially if prices are going to rise. I can then start to eat out of the cupboards and freezers then.
Got no ice-cream now, we had to eat it to create some space!!!

Wow, go Lynsey! I must try a late night shop at Mr T's and see what the grocery and freezer aisles are like. Maybe at the end of the month - we have plenty in to last us.
Had the hotpot tonight - was lovely as usual and we have some over for dinner tomorrow night. Will be having it with the remaining 2 Aunt Bessie's yorkshire puds that I rescued from the depths of our garage freezer this afternoon.
Will be having crackerbread and cheese for lunch tomorrow afternoon to use up the opened packet in the cupboard.
sunday probably wont be using much - we are out to lunch with my cousin and his wife. might get one of my frozen pasta bake portions out and have that for dinner, will have to seewe still have my rescued packet of bacon which will need to be eaten at some point lol.

Sainsbury's have the Spam Fritters on at BOGOF (£2), so one coupon gets 2 free packs of Spam Fritters. The coupon has to be manually put through at £2 as it has no value to scan.
I think they're tasteless, but some like them and they're free.
Not all Sainsbury's stock them, sadly.
