Freebies toady: 2 x Spam Fritters - donated to neighbour friend.
Got some seafood sauce in Home Bargains for 5p and I'll use on Saturday to fill vol-au-vents - large jar just past sell by date and the rest will get binned.
Sainsbury's have the L'Oreal wipes @ £1.48 and £1.50 and the L'Oreal skincare coupon scans at £2.50.
Spent £4.87 today on bits and bobs from Home Bargains, Tesco and Sainsbury's and will spend later as we are going to Asda for cheap bread after Groupon meal.
Will try and pop into Boot's to start on the stash of Special K bars.
Might also try the Heinz 5 Beanz coupons in Asda and see if I get lucky - worst case scenario is I'll get them free.
Got a few things from Tesco for foodbank, but only spent £1.07.
Got a winter coat from Tesco reduced from £35 to £15 and used a £3 coupon, so only £12. Go nice with my £5 Tesco boots which were a fab bargain.
Looked in Wilko's to see if they had any cheap Kit Kats. They didn't, but they have a great range of Green's stuff including the scones mix - I never had any Green's coupons (left in car), but will take some next time. Who would have thought Wilko's would have the best selection of Green's stuff?? Sadly none on offer, but always another day. lol
katskorner - you're suffering, get to the Dr's and hopefully get this cleared up - take care.

Hey guys.
Thanks Lynsey I all try wilkos, never managed to get more kit kat coupons but will get some special k for the boxes, I'm not keen on them.
Nsd, had the beef steaks which were lovely way better than the Mr s ones that were on glitch before, made the mac n cheese topped with breadcrumbs and had fine green beans, enough for tomorrow, also browned the pork mince and mixed in some salsa I found in cupboard and also the 5 beans, will grate some of the 45p organic dark chocolate I bought from Mr w. also rustled up a ginger, nectrine, tinned pears and clementines smoothie, was lovely and will have the rest for breakfast.
Got some running up and down to do tomorrow and just realised I will pass 3-4 boots, wonder how many I can get through ss.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

Had a great meal and luckily have another Groupon to go again.
I managed to get 2 free Special K bars (they will be donated) and will top up when passing Boot's.
Bought 3 x L'Oreal shampoos/conditioner (large) from Superdrug at 45p each (£1.95 minus £1.50 coupons).
Spent a bit in Asda tonight, mainly on the coffee clearance (great value there) and some cheap bread stuff and free Heinz 5 Beanz which are 50p and coupons scanned at 85p.
Asda:
6 x Extra Special Fairtrade Organic ground coffee @ 74p = £4.44
10 x Asda ground coffee (various) @ 57p = £5.70
4 x Heinz 5 Beanz @ 50p = £2
Kingsmill loaf (reduced) @ 14p (for birds)
Large bloomer (reduced) @ 20p
Small farmhouse (reduced) @ 10p
Onion loaf (reduced) @ 10p
Cheese and tomato flat bread (reduced) @ 10p
Garlic flatbread (reduced) @ 10p
Sub total = £12.88
Used 4 x 85p Heinz coupons (minus £3.40)
Total = £9.48
Days total £14.35 .................... ouch!!
Asda non-food - bunch of flowers for 10p.
This weeks spends will be high now, but loads of ground coffee, well until Son gets his hands on it!!!
Took some steak out to casserole tomorrow. Still haven't hit veg outlet, but must tomorrow.
Coffee time now. lol
Edit: Just filled my freezer with bagged bread, should last until next weekend I hope.

Morning all.
Just toast with cheese-spread for breakfast and steak and ale with veg when I get the veg later.
Not too sure what shopping will be done today, but still got 2 Spam coupons to use and neighbour friend likes then and she's skint!!
4 packs of Spam Fritters on top of the 2 I gave last night should save her some pennies. Luckily she like the 5 Beanz.
katskorner - hope there is some improvement today and you're feeling a little better at least.

Lynsey your such a nice person helping out yoru neighbour, not to say i wouldn't help mine but we're all related so that kinda goes without saying.
I'm at work tonight and my meal plan was for chicken and chips, but we had chips yesterday, i don't mind me and hubby having them 2 days in a row but not the kids, so i've lifted some mince out of the freezer, the kids can have mince and taties and when i get back i'll have keiv and chips and oh can have chicken and chipsi'll need all my resolve to avoid chinese so i'll peel chips this afternoon and soak them in water, if there done they'll need used.
Undecided about lunch maybe sausage rolls.DEC GC £463.67/£450

I tried helping my neighbour out with coupons and she turned them down.
So instead if I see a cat food sample (as she has one big fluffy black monster of a kitty) I send away for it. The cat can't complain :rotfl:0 -
Morning all ! Went to see my mother yesterday, the weather was ghastly so our plans to go charity shop hopping went ou the window.
Went to Budgens, got nice New Covent Garden Soup Company Pumpkin G h o u l a s h (MSE website doesn't like that spelling) for £1 on offer but only 9% pumpkin  After leisurely lunch and sorting out her laptop, went to Tesco and Sainsbury's.
Tesco has Extra Virgin organic olive oil 500ml on offer for £2 which is a bargain and I bought four. Nice n Easy hair dye (my mother uses it) is on offer 2 for £10.
Bought Rupert Everett's Vanished Years (part 2 of autobiography) for £12 and have been reading it. He's a brilliant writer and I'm loving it. I enjoy snuggling up on my love seat with a great bookTesco has 2 pumpkins for £3
Went to Sainsbury's (which has same size pumpkins 1.50 each) and bought two really lovely organic rump steaks for £7. Really yummy. Had them for dinner with organic white closed cup mushrooms from Tesco which didn't taste of muchand Daylesford organic free range fried egg. Steak, egg and mushrooms is a sheep shearer's breakfast according to a Kiwi I worked with whose uncle had a sheep farm. It's really good when you're starving hungry that's for sure.
I'm going to go get stuck in with Rupert mmm he's so naughty
xx
PS - Kirri think of all that lovely Brie you'd missFrench Click www.frenchclick.co.uk katskorner hope you are feeling better today.

quintwins - nice person?? Of course I'm a nice person. lol
She hasn't the time (work) to go bargain hunting and using coupons etc and we love playing the game and the stuff was free anyway. Better someone having the Spam Fritters rather than the coupons going to waste. We sometimes buy her reduced salmon and fish which she likes. ................... and pays for.
She helps us also, so it's not one-sided.
Looks like we're not going to the veg outlet again as we were waiting for a gas engineer to carry out a CP12 check and it's been delayed until Monday!! I'll just have to get by with what I have.
I might just pop into Sainsbury's later?? I wanted to try the smaller Asda for the cheap jars of coffee.
Edwardia - don't miss that Asda Organic ground coffee @ 74p per pack - it won't last long!!

DM is being good today! She's using up more cupboard stock (tinned veg, butter beans, sliced carrots) in a big hotpot, made with mince we bought in Mr A's yesterday.
At least the wobbly cupboard shelf doesnt wobble anymore! lol0
