Found the tin of strawberries I lost last night.....made a packet of the red jel mix....and everything after that went wrong.
Strawberries were a greyish red colour - they looked vile and DM wouldnt touch them.
Red jel mix - think I added too much sugar, had about four spoonfuls and that was enough. Will use the other packet but not add as much sugar as required next time.
All in all a disaster of a dessert after our very nice steak and kidney meal; but at least I tried!0 -
Morning all.
Got my new "toy" yesterday from Tesco (netbook), so opens up a whole lot of coupons which are limited per pc .................. sad but I'm excited and the extra coupons will easily pay for the "toy".
Only spent £1 yesterday on some soup, but will shop today and hoping to use a few coupons. I would love the Tesco nutri grain glitch, but sick of looking - loads of mortgage offers!!
Took out a pie and pasty for today and we'll have with soup or peas.
Just cheese-spread on toast (last of bread) for breakfast.
Probably using a Groupon tomorrow, so easy day.
chesky - I normally freeze fishcakes before dipping, but wouldn't thought it would matter.
Edwardia - hope you are having a better "no-pantz" day.
Hope all are well.

Got 2 more packs of free Oats so Simple today from Morries using £1 coupons.
Bought 2 packs Ty-phoo tea-bags (80) for £1 each and 2 x Green's Pancake Mix for 10p each using 2 x 40p coupons.
The pancake mixes are great for 10p as they contain 2 sachets of Golden Syrup.
£2.20 spent so far. Never got to veg outlet, probably tomorrow.
BTW, the 50p couple for Kit Kats is available again, just got another 2.
Be quick as they are popular and limited.

I am sooooo.... cold, I know what it must be like 'living in a freezer' No central heating yet, husband hasn't finished re-routeing pipes yet. Must go and put my coat on and maybe gloves. Need to go and find something in the freezer for tea, I've know I've some cooked lamb in there, just have to locate it. have some potatoes and vegetables in fridge that need using up. Pudding - not sure, maybe apple sponge or something similar. At least it's been a NSD0

Evening all.. thanks for the best wishes, my temperature has gone down now.
Still stressed tho
NSD for me though I've started doing an Ocado order pour le weekend. Am adding bits n pieces for Christmas.
Winalot six pack has gone up 48p each since I ordered some in August. OH might be sent to rummage in Poundland instead
Had Tregida sprats for lunch from Abel & Cole which OH had taken out of freezer. Nice amount for 1.99 would feed two kids or two adults as a starter and were really fresh and shiny looking. Tasted good too.
Kirri, I've put the Stonegate organic eggs on the Ocado order. There was an organic breakfast deal of eggs, bacon and baked beans.

Kirri, I've put the Stonegate organic eggs on the Ocado order. There was an organic breakfast deal of eggs, bacon and baked beans.
I've put them back on mine now as well seeing as though I've still not put the order in! Shame they don't do a veggie version of that organic deal though! Might go to farmer's market Sat though but even so doesn't hurt to have 6 more as got a lot of baking lined up. I keep getting the 20% off vouchers but was still waiting for free delivery - don't think that is going to come up and I am severely low on flour and Ecover so may have to give in and pay
Also considering an order with Goodness Direct, mainly for veggie stuff that is hard to get - they have a large selection of more unusual items and organic stuff plus a £10 off £35 spend and prices in some cases are lower than Ocado.
More hm veg burgers and allotment veg for dinner - feeling pleased as used up 2 more bottlesthe sesame oil (best before 2010!) and the last of the sweet chilli sauce.

Got 2 of the coupons - thanks for the heads up there Lynsey0

I eat loads of out of date yogurt. It is meant to contain bacteria and my GP friend does the same - easily a month or more out of date. Not died yet
.
Hope you are ok Edwardia.
I still feel ill - today I actually have felt awful. Doc told me to go back tomorrow if still bad so here is hoping sleep tonight will do good.
Made a sausage casserole today which used up 2 packs frozen sausages and loads of fresh veg. There will be meals to freeze but that makes life easier next time I want some.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!
