    I've been Money Tipped!
Morning all and the little mouse still has not had his "Last Supper"!!
I think he may be under the floorboards!!

ms_night_ryder - good selection for the box, we'll donate next week. I wonder if they'll allow shandy as it's 0.9%?? I bought loads when it was £1 per 6 pack in Asda and 50p with coupon in Sainsbury's. I need to get a few toiletries to donate and I think cup-a-soup looks good.
    Those ebay offers are brill.

ma-ri-ella - great shop, 87p after deducting the bag. lol

Cheese on toast for breakfast and cottage pie later.
I'm not sure if I'll be shopping today - I could do with a day off.

this is the week for it for sure...

flipping cat managed to knock over the new fish tank (had it just under two weeks - 35l) and it smashed to smithereens. I saved the fish but later lost one who was injured in the fall. We are now needing another tank and needing to vax the carpet again ( spent ages getting up the water and mess). Arrrrggghhh..

feeling like I need a chinese takeaway - so hungry as not had time to eat today and not through bedtime routine yet so not feeling like cooking at all - DS1 is still out at cubs... groan... bad for budget but sometimes....what to do?
    3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

  • hope you are all having a nice Friday evening - it's raining again here!!

I went to Tesco Express today and the tinned pears were only 15p so I got three tins, plus the ginger cake was £1 and BOGOF and the coupon for the free cake scanned at £1.35 so that was a bit of a profit!

I also went to Aldi to stock up on baking stuff as it is so much cheaper than everywhere else - I am taking a coffee and walnut cake to the local history group tomorrow, and I also made an apple strudel for dessert tonight.

DD has come home from university tonight for the weekend so I made chicken, jacket potato, courgettes, mushrooms and corn - it was really nice.

I believe the pears are only at Tesco Express. The staff wondered how we found out about the price. lol
Told them HDUK and they asked if we go on Martin's site. :rotfl:
Cheapest I've seen tinned pears in ages.

Yes, I had a bit of bother in Asda yesterday, with the beans coupon as well. They would only accept one beans coupon, saying that I could just run hundreds off and they could be copies. I had two of the reloaded coupons, but the originals from the Metro newspaper. At first, they said they would only accept one and I said, they are out of today's newspaper, so they decided to accept both. I know that if I had taken a couple of the print out ones, there is no way they would have accepted them, the supervisor woman was very awkward, hate it when they get like that with coupons. Not keen on trying to use the print out reloaded ones in there.

Morning all, nice bright Autumn morning here.

No dead mouse yet, but no droppings either.
It may still be under the floorboards or perhaps escaped?? I think under the floorboards. I changed the chocolate with a piece of Mars Bar.

    Shopping yesterday:
    Sainsburys:
    1 litre Tropicana Ruby Breakfast - was £2.59 = 10p
    2 x yellow peppers - were 80p each for 10p each = 20p
    1 pack 4 apples - were £2 = 10p
2 tins Heinz 5 Beanz - free with coupons
    Total spent = 49p

Need to go to Lidl today for Brother and I'll get a couple of packs of Chicken Kievs to try.
I'll also look in the Tesco Express again and may visit another one later.

Breakfast will be toast and I've taken out some pastry to make an apple pie. Also took out some of those 50p Sainsbury's Thai Pork Kebabs for hubby - not too sure if I want a main meal today.

I'll have to watch out when using coupons, but don't really want loads of Reloaded and Heinz 5 Beanz will just be picked up as and when now - most of the hard work has been done. I need other bargains now to donate a better selection.
I might start my £100 Charity Donation Pot from Monday 1st October and run it until 1st October next year - goods then should last until next Xmas.
Stops the spends coming out of my budget also. :D

Hope all are well and especially katskorner, you haven't had it easy of late and are due some good fortune - take care all.

Have a great and prosperous weekend and don't get "Trouted". lol
