Actually I can't eat fruit yogurts too much sugar but I lurve the Yeo Valley natural probiotic yogurt Ms_Night_Ryder
At the moment Ocado has the 1kg fridge door pack 2 for £4 (bit too much to get through 2kg by myself) but when there aren't offers like that then Abel & Cole is cheaper than the supermarkets for the 500g pot. It's on offer there atm so the stuff coming on Monday will be 2.50 for two 500g pots.
Out of the freezer came free range pork mince and chicken wings.
Into the freezer last night went bits of cheese from the deli at Sainsbury's - Cornish Yarg, Harlech, a chevre, Double Gloucester with onions and chives and an oak smoked Cheddar. OH likes to pick through them and take to work as he has a big pot of Branston and another of piccalilli there. Five Higgidy pies (four on offer at Sainsbos and one reduced) as well.
Arriving shortly from Ocado to go in freezer will be Green & Black's organic chocolate ice cream (offer) another four Higgidies (offer), frozen organic peas, two Laverstoke Park black puddings (offer), 3 x 250g President unsalted butter (on offer 1.24 were 1.60 in Sainsbos yesterday) and some organic back bacon.
Dinner tonight is Laverstoke Park buffalo burgers with Kraft Dinner macaroni cheese (American junk food hehe which reminds me of Canada) with frozen peas and either carrots or leeks.0 -

Quite a bit for the money and my "Corner Shop" is now a "Mini Market".
Definitely starting the Charity Donations from Monday with my £100 and starting off with a magnificent stash after a few weeks of hard work. I'll concentrate more now on value stuff from next week.
Because of what I've already "stashed", we are going to donate 2 boxes per month. I must have over £200 worth of food at full value already to donate. :j
Pizza and chips for tomorrow, muffin to finish and just baked a deep-dish apple pie.
I'll need fresh stuff mainly next week and I'll mainly bake bread.
Got quite a few Groupons to use up (just bought 2 more with £5 credits), so need to eat out quite a bit in the next 2 months.
I never got my empty freezer drawer this month and maybe I never will ............................ but it's all fun.
EDIT: Green's Cheesecake @ 50p (Morries) ends tomorrow 30/09.

Hey everyone
Today I made my fastly becoming famous chicken tikka masala with cauli & chickpeas for my kids. They had it with hm turmeric cinnamon rice, naan bread and bhajis with mango chutney. Not bad for little people!! Used up a couple of freezer bits and meant two more meals for the three of them back in freezer for another time. Ideal.
We are having chicken kievs, pasta n sauce and peas or salad (depends on when hubby comes in from the garage sort out he has been doing all day and is still going even though it is dark now). Kievs courtesy of Lidl half price weekend earlier where I bagged the six max allowed. I was amazed there were any left cos we didn't go till this afternoon. Got goats cheese and peppers too. Very happy.
Just need a few basics tomorrow for school / work lunches and I am good.
Got milk from C&C and butcher chummy gave me a massive chicken for £2 and £15 worth of lean steak mince for little over £2.50. Love him - gotta! Plus got about 40 cartons of apple, orange and tropical juice (big ones) for £8. Saved me a fortune and that will do for months!
What shall I cook this week?3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!
