    I've been Money Tipped!
Morning all, little mouse is still alive (mustn't like Lidl chocolate).

Had porridge and got Ciabatta bread mix on dough setting now.
Having burgers in a bun with fried onions later, with ketchup.

Out this afternoon, so will try and use a few coupons, especially the Reloaded ones. It will be a more relaxed day though .......... I think.

ms_night_ryder - when printing, set to print page 2-2 and once printed turn page over and print again - repeat until you run out of ink or paper. :D

My Dad always used to use rich tea biscuits - our old mice used to quite like them.... ;)
  • Back on the forums after several months of going it alone.

Need to join this thread as my freezers are stuffed with food. I'm not sure what is lurking at the bottom (when I find The bottom) of the large chest freezer.
The upright freezers - I know what is in those as I use one for home grown things, the other is mainly used for leftovers and bulk cooking.

My problem is not labelling the contents. I have tried defrosting 'one mystery pack per day' with hilarious results. My married daughter is convinced I have a years supply of food for just my husband and I - her cupboards by comparison are bare.

I now only shop online and have home delivery as the delivery cost is cheaper than driving the 10 mile round trip with the land rover. Also it stops me impulse buying!!!! However, I'm sure I could do better as I find it very difficult to acknowledge just how much food I have, because when I order I still tend to do a complete weekly shop and order everything I need for that week.

    Am I a lost case?

My cupboards are a lot better as we only have a small kitchen until the extension is finished, then the kitchen will be about 15 times bigger. Oh dear- no hope.
  • Lynsey try chocolate spread they do like that or another thing they like is peanut butter i've had lots of sucess with peanut butter. Hope you catch it. Have been reading this thread since the start of the year and you are all doing great, would love to join but just don't think i'm as organised as you all as my freezer is still full even wrote a list of it all one week and thought omg i must stop buying but i never. I do have some weeks where i am "good" but just not enough of them.

I think i posted last monthw hen we had mince, those spring traps are awful, we acually tried to set one off a week or 2 ago and it took use 10 mins of poking it hard with a screwdriver to set it off, we caught our mous etho, in one of those human traps it's a long retangle and it tips if the mouse goes into it, it was super sensitive and worked a treat (sadly we didn't let the mouse go free as it would just come back in again) we used peanut butter.
