Morning to a dark, wet and windy morning!!!!
Got a pack of bacon to use for breakfast, stir fry for later and perhaps just snacks.
Shopping for Brother at Morries this morning and I'll use a few coupons.
I'll have a look at the new offers, may check their website now.
Green's Cheesecake is 50p (great @ only 10p with coupon) in Morries until Sunday 30th. I think they are ok and need some smaller tins - I'll keep my eyes open for some cheapies.
Hope the weather is better where you are.

there are also another 2 vouchers but i don't think they are on offer anywhere, but may be useful if you normally buy them - home chips and curly fries 50p off
Home chips are on offer in Tesco at the moment - £2.00 for the giant pack, so £1.50 with coupon - they are really nice too!
Horrible wild, wet and windy day here this morning - just about to take DD to hospital for her dressing change (she has an abscess on her back), and may look for some bargains when out.
A funny thing happened yesterday - I was in Waitrose and the butcher was just in the process of reducing loads of meat. Some was veal and stuff which I wouldn't buy but there were loads of bags of free range pork chops for 43p which I thought was great so I got loads!! When I got home I realised that I had had no glasses on and it actually said pork chips - so I got loads of chipolata sausages, which were garlicky too!! I thought I would use some in a cassoulet thing for dinner yesterday, but I have to say that they were the rankest things in life!! Neither of us could eat them so I had to throw some McCains home chips in the oven and do burgers!!
Have just had a bacon sandwich for breakfast, lunch will be soup of some sort and dinner tonight will be chicken. I am toying with the idea of doing it in the slow cooker, but I've never done that before so....
Got some Greens cheesecake in Tescos with coupons on Saturday and made one last night - it was absolutely delish, particularly as I made a strawberry and blueberry topping for it!!
Have a great day everyone.Jane

Hey guys.
Missed breakfast, took out small loaf from freezer, had a vegetable and fish finger sandwich with leftover lettuce, so salad is finished, also cooked the salmon fishcakes from Mr w, they are really good quality and its like a salmon fillet in Breadcrumb, so when I get back from boxercise will make seasoned 5 beans and have that, trying not to gave to many carbs today.
4 days since I last went to Mr w and feeling good LOL.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

Jane, got to laugh at your error. lol (sorry).
Blended in 4 more Heinz 5 Beanz, 2 Greeen's Pancake Mix and 2 Wright's Ciabatta Mix - used coupons for the lot and only 60p spent.
Don't miss the free Quaker Oats So Simple from Morries - down to £1 and free with £1 coupons and 50p with 50p coupons.
I'll try Sainsbury's later and get at least 2 more beans!! Hopefully some cheap bread or I'll be baking tomorrow.
Weather is horrendous and heating well on.
ms_night_ryder - that's a good weight-loss, how long do you think it'll take to lose the extra 9lbs??
Xmas is coming soon. lol
BTW - still 15 bars of Lidl's 17p chocolate left - aren't I good??

Hi Smegcat - welcome!
I made the chicken in the slow cooker and it wasn't nice at all - it went really mushy so I won't be doing that again. The dogs loved it though!!
I ate it with a bit of rice and some veg but DD refused so went and got herself chippy chinese. I at about 10 of her chips and now I feel way too full.
I whizzed into Aldi before and they had loads of fruit and veg at 50% off - got figs, sweetcorn cobs, cabbage, tangerines, bananas, chillis, peppers, onions, carrots and apples - all look really nice and fresh so was pleased. I also got rice, cheese, some drain cleaner and bleach and other cleaning stuff and dog food. I really don't need to go shopping any more this week!
We had the rest of the green's cheesecake after tea and it was just as delicious as yesterday!
I really need to go to the food bank this week too - have lots of stuff to donate from my recent cupboard overhaul!
Hope the weather isn't too bad where you are - it is fair apocolyptic here!Jane

Morning all after a bad night!!
"I can't stand the rain against my window" lol
Never went shopping last night, so no bread bargains. I've just some Ciabatta mix in now and I'll pop the buns in with the pork in an hour or so.
I might do Green's cheesecake today and would like a topping like Jane did. Too wet to got for blackberries and was thinking of a layer of lemon pie filling. lol
Out to Sainsbury's to get my legging and pick up some free beans and Spam Fritters for Brother - the coupons will make the spend up to £20+ and then the £4 of £20 coupon will kick-in. This is where coupons can really help.
Hoping to maybe visit Morries for some Quaker Oats and Tesco Express for cheap pear quarters (I would love those).
Toast for me today (last of slices) and hubby can have last of bacon and an egg or two.
Pork dinner with stuffing today and tomorrow, so sorted. Maybe a pork and stuffing sandwich to finish off the joint ................ I could well be grunting by tomorrow night!!
Stay dry .................... and warm.
