katskorner - hope all is well, take care.

Just had my biggest ever tin day, never ever managed to get as many in one day before. I'll update later as I need food (no, not beans!!!!). lol
Had a great coupon day and all the checkout staff were brilliant.
Probably had to spend over £10 to get all the freebies and many tins of 15p pears, but at least it's over with!!
I got such a buzz today I want to go back out tonight for Part 2, but that would be too excessive and verging on an illness.
    There's always tomorrow. ;)

quintwins - that's scary with the frezzer, hope you don't lose anything.

Hope you have seen the free Reloaded coupon - use as many as you can print.
I think there is a competition to see who can be the silliest with unlimited coupons at the moment - let them fight each other. :D
    *** thanks chardonnay for highlighting.

The cheesecake was really nice with the lemon twist.

Hello again, THis week is last week before payday so I shipped the last of the months money over into savings account so I would not be tempted to do a food shop through laziness as there was more than enough in the cupboards, coming to the end of the freezer stuff and by Friday the fridge will need filling but got enough for lunches for the kids for school and bits I will need for day to day. Yesterday I bought muffins for 25p from our local spar, I bought a braces loaf of bread for 20 p, shop baked apple pie for 30p, froze the muffins and spilt the loaf and froze the other half. I did a curry and rice with the last of the chicken and egg fried rice ( 39p ) home bargains last night. The apple pie had to be eaten by today so they had that after their tea today with custard I had he cupboard already. It was lovely. Today I picked up shop baked sausage rolls a pack of five for 25p after school so chopped some potatoes with fry light and did wedges so we had them with baked beans and then the apple pie afterwards. kids really enjoyed, total spent this week 5 quid. Total spend for the whole month 280.00. I have been picking bits up towards Christmas here and there so even more happy with my total spend. Just more cooking from scratch and knowing when shops reduced their bits. Have done a online shop with tesco on Friday with offers and then will pop into farm foods, Iceland and home bargains for other bits I normally get that are on offer week in and week out, Shocked that our food shop as gone down so much and this is without any difference in quality or the amount we eat x
