Went for lunch items & spent £16 - lowest ever! Bought 1kg of mushrooms & finally made the bag of risotto rice up. So out of the cupboard & into the freezer.

    1 box of donuts out
    1 beef stroganoff out
    1 chicken soup out

    Nothin in :)

Has anyone ever seen mushroom stock? My risotto is nice but tastes more like veg stock than mushroom anything. Thanks in advance

Your poor DD caz :( Thomas is very lucky teething wise he doesn't make a sound. I only notice when brushing his teeth that he has a new tooth :rotfl:

Whole chicken out along with some veg and Yorkshire puddings. NSD for me but OH is picking up dog food and some cleaning supplies.

YES ammonite :) Kallo does organic mushroom stock cubes. Not all supermarkets carry the entire range but you can get them from Amazon.

Thanks Edwardia :) I will keep an eye out or get some in amazon! Who knew you could buy things like that from amazon! :)

Tin of curry & bag of rice out
    Ice cream out (finished)
2 sausage rolls & 3 croissants & 1 pitta out for lunch tomorrow
One plated up chicken dinner out for tomorrow.

Freezer feels manageable! So now be said that I'll probably end up shopping & filling it up again that's what usually happens!! :rotfl:

Ocado delivered so INto the freezer went fresh org Dell'Ugo spinach & ricotta pasta for OH (offer), a block of Lye Cross org Double Gloucester (offer), some Waitrose org frozen petits pois (which my local Waitrose never seems to have in stock), Dorset Foods frozen org shortcrust pastry (for OH's mince pies at Christmas) and a tub of Green & Black org chocolate ice cream (1.19 off) which probably won't last long !

OUT came Gressingham duck legs (Morrisons offer) for us tomorrow.

NSD today for me, woohoo, and out of the freezer -

onion rings, chips, cajun king prawns, and the angel delight lollies for the girls

Dinner tonight for me and OH is the duck I got out yesterday, which we will deep fry, and have with onions, cucumber, plum sauce and some of the chinese pancakes I have in the freezer

So a good day for using some bits and pieces. Am resisting going to T Express tonight, I don't need anything, I'll go in a couple of days, I've got lots of fruit in at the moment that I want to use up before I get anymore

Going to watch the closing ceremony of the Olympics tonight, I have enjoyed the Olympics so much this year, more than I thought I would have. I don't know what I'll watch after this, probably go back to not watching anything!

Hope you've all had lovely weekends :)

    Ditto.

Ditto with a NSD also. Been away all day helping get a flat ready for market.
Coffee, feet up and watch the tv.

Not too sure what to have tomorrow, but may simply be burgers (get some buns tomorrow).
A pasta meal probably on Tuesday and may use some of the free Dallaglio sauces (Son has pleaded not to send any more!!).

Write my list for the week in the morning and cross them off as I buy. Need to find the best L'Oreal offers also to use rest of coupons.
Fingers crossed for easyJet releasing summer '13 flights this week - I can feel it in my water.

No Lidl chocolate eaten yet ........................... good job it's got a long use-by-date. :D

    Hey all.

Went to mr s to get an extension lead. good price 6.99, but i spent money, my promise not to spend didnt last 2 days lol. they had solero ice lollies for 70p for 3, got 2 boxes, ribena half price and some junk, 14 quid lighter.

My pc is up and running now, but cant get internet connection, will pop out and get another dongle tomorrow, also i was sent a laptop speaker rather than a pc speaker, so i will swap that and hope that is all that is needed so i can be up and running.

I finally used the chicken i was supposed to make into soup yesterday, was only 3, so chucked in the slow cooker with peppers, onions and tomatoes and seasoned, had it with rice and carrots and green beans, did enough green beans to add to my salad tomorrow, also finally made the mackrel wrapped in filo, god filo is fiddly! broke a few sheets lol, buut the otcome was delicious, but i didnt make the salad, so will make it tomorrow, just need to boil some new potatoes.

I took out some beef from the freezer, organic and diced, although you wouldnt think it! the freezer drawer still had trouble closing, so i dare not add the chicken wings in! lol so i'm having the rest of the mackrel and salad for lunch tomorrow and for dinner i think i will have beef kebabs, with the left over rice and some veg, might make some soup with the beef also, as there is alot and i'm not a huge beef eater! still have a portion of chicken left and a couple of portions of rice, will leave in the fridge, i am bound to use within the next few days with what i have got.
