    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all.

    Sequeena - memories you'll treasure.

Soworried - well done to your Daughter - hope you're feeling ok.

quintwins - hope you're feeling better also and hope you inspire me to an empty freezer drawer.

cazj80 - I had an issue with a freezer drawer a short while back. My issue was the drawer wasn't fully closed and the door popped open. Lucky also as caught in time!!!

Never went shopping, so had my lowest weeks spend of the year so far at only £9.71. The only other sub-£10 week was in week 2.
Also saved £2 by not going out and putting the lottery on .................. or did I miss out on a few £million. :D
    Anyway, another NSD. :j

Took out some hot cross buns for breakfast and small loin joint for later.

I'm not too sure if I'll go shopping later, we'll see. Nothing needed that can't wait.

Urgh, was up this morning at 5.30 with my eldest, but my youngest kept me up a lot as well last night, so not much sleep for me, am a bit tired this morning!

    Food plan for today -

salad for lunch with pitta bread from the freezer
pork chow mein for tea, with stir fried vegetables, pork from the freezer, noodles 10p, bean sprouts 6p, vegetable packs 19p x 2.

Yesterday I made Italian lamb burgers with lamb mince from the freezer, and English muffins from the freezer, and for pudding we had apple, pear, strawberry and blackberry crumble (pears - 9p for 5, strawberries - 20p for 400g, blackberries - 20p for the punnet, and cooking apples were 50p).

Am going to try for a NSD, though I may need to get milk, I'm sure I've used the last bottle I had in the freezer, so might not have a NSD after all

Hope everyone else has a lovely Sunday! I intend to have a stay at home day and watch some more of the Olympics!

I use lamb mince, very finely chopped onion, breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, oregano, rosemary, parsley, tomato puree and chopped up sundried tomatoes, mix it altogether, make into burgers, chill in fridge for half an hour, then grill. They are lovely with freshly cooked ciabatta rolls, salad and a bit of mayo!

He is good, not a pup anymore as he's 3! Still my puppy though. He's been with Ex for the week, so nice to have him home with me :) he's going back to ex on Friday though

Going to eat the ceasar salad for my lunch today, and maybe curry or jacket potato and beans for dinner.

    Hey all.

Just passing by, no eating at my house, since yesterday when I harrys last bagel, I did use up a tub of chinese on Friday and took out a tub of utterly butterly.

Spent £110 in Costco yesterday, won't go again until christmas now, I got a fab bath mat for £11 really good quality, most expensive thing was a bottle of lp rose love my champers, I got loads of strawberrys, pineapple, beetroot, kitchen gloves x 6, 3 bags of baked, another tray of pork shoulder, a tray of chicken wings, both meats to be portioned, so about 8 lots there, part baked bread, 3 plug ins, wont buy anymore without coupons, muller yogurts, mackrel fillets, garlic, Cupcakes, remember all of this bulk bought, so will last a while. A few more things.

Also bought a tray of chicken legs, which I cooked this morning to take to a picnic, my aunty made.chicken pasta, so we have kept some of it back as it was loads.

Still need to buy ribena and a few small bits, won't spend more than £10 though, prob during the week, i will check how much space is I. the freezer after I cram all tgis stuff in.

Tomorrow i will be in all day waiting for my pc to be delivered, so might cook something up then.

Lynsey -we did put £2 on lottery last night and don't normally. Only got one number. Last time we did Euromillions got 2 numbers and a lucky star and only got 2.80 As a teenager I was really into horses and would read up on the form and breeding. Ma would put my bets on and several times I really cleaned up :D OH jokes that I should start doing it again.

bramble1 - Waitrose bargains are soo discreet though, I find them hard to spot but at least there's no bullying going on

cazj80 - good idea, I'm going to leave out the breadcrumbs, add ground up nuts and an egg and use veal mince cos I have lots in the freezer. The crumble sounds great !

NSD here. Tuna, mayo and sweetcorn pasta for lunch. T seemed to enjoy.

Need to go tin shopping as there's almost no tins in the cupboard now. How did that happen?? Too focused on YS that's why :rotfl:

Had a bad day today after such a good week last week - only spending last weeks budget though!!
Went to Sainsbury's (a large one) to try my luck at 14 packs of shandy ........... but "no way Jose", they only allow 1 coupon per pack but do allow several packs put through separately.
Spent £14.25 on main shop (got 4 bags of jumbo prawns £5 BOGOF and Coke and bits) and used 1 x £1 shandy coupon, 2 x 50p Cravendale coupons and a £4 off £20 - so original £20.25 had £6 taken off. Only real "whoopsie" was a pack of choc muffins for 39p.
Bought another 4 packs of shandy and used 4 x £1 coupons, so another £1.96 spent
Total for day = £16.21, but well stocked on cans of drink now.
The shandy was still a great bargain at only 49p for 6 cans when using the £1 coupon.

I'm going to try and limit this weeks spends to £30'ish and not much needed to be honest. Loads of stuff I need rid off, so will be focussing on the freezers.

Those Sainsbury's expensive potatoes are actually very nice, I'll have to watch for them when reduced.

Edwardia - a bit of a former gambler in your youth?? lol
    Well done on your wins.

bramble1 - I didn't realise your "pup" was so old (3), you must have talked about it being a "pup" at the end of last year?? Hope you are well.

ms_night_ryder - good luck with couponing from tomorrow.
***Free cream from ASDA and L'Oreal (lots of) are great offers

You'll probably not believe this, but we had rain today!!!!!!
Terrible weather here at lunch time - thunder and lightening for quite a while and a few flooded roads ................. again.
