Hope you get some flights Lynsey - where are you hoping to go?
Just to the Costa del Sol in May and may look at somewhere else later or even doing the CDS twice. Flights were released 26th July last year - hoping within next 7 days and checking 4 times per day and have been for the last few weeks.
Lidl half-price weekend offer may be 17p chocolate.
Needs to be confirmed, but budget could be hammered!!!!
Just finished the last bar from the last lot the other day.

Morning all, soworried hope your back gets better.
More housework today. Seem to have got through unbelievable amount of veg since Friday so may not be an NSD.
Not sure what happened but last night had some of the YS (although actually the Waitrose reduced price label isn't yellow) Duchy Originals organic lamb leg steaks and they were superb. OH very happy man.0 -

Wow Sequeena, your son being born on his birthday must have been best ever present for your partner .. impeccable timing on your part
Have a great time ! xx
Just about to have a late lunch of Laverstoke Park Farm buffalo burgers (2 packs for 2.50 Waitrose offer) out of the freezer with yes salad0 -
Impeccable timing considering I went into labour 4 days before :rotfl:
Well today has been a disaster! Things out of our control has happened so our day out to plantasia has been postponed until tomorrow. Feeling pretty gutted as I wanted his birthday to be perfect but it's unavoidable. Me and my partner have not had food either so I've put the 37p jacket potatoes in the oven which we'll have with butter and cheese. I used the last of the beans damn.Wife and mother :jGrocery budget

Sequeena that sounds severely painful <winces>. Hope your day tomorrow is better. OH has this week off too but it's only Tuesday and his boss has called him three times already.
NSD for me but OH did nip round to Tesco Express and bought me a small bag of Kettle Chips
We're going shopping tomorrow in a different town and we were looking fwd to a Wimpy breakfast as a non-organic junk food treat but it's closed down0 -
Well, I returned my broken steam mop to Asda, they didn't have any more in, so I got a refund. I do really fancy one of those X5 ones you see on the really annoying adverts on the tv in the mornings, but they are £100, but I've found a website that sells them for £60, but it's a lot of money so something I need to have a think about first.
I didn't get any cream in Asda, there was only one pot on the shelf, which looked a bit battered on the top and it was £1, so I decided that I wouldn't get it.
Got some ys at the T Express just now -
2 loaves of Finest oaty bread - 10p each
1 lettuce - 6p
2 packs of Finest carrots - super long ones - 15p a pack
1 pack of Finest Chanteney carrots - 11p
2 packs of new potatoes in butter and garlic - 10p each
a total spend of 87p!!
Got a few bits last night as well -
salad bowl - 20p
2 cucumbers - 8p each
sausage and egg sandwich for OH - 11p
a whole swede - 10p
and a couple of bits, which for the life of me I can't remember now
Some beef out of the freezer now for a stew tomorrow - going to put it in the slow cooker, with some stout, swede, carrots and shallots, should be yummy. Not really used the slow cooker myself before, OH has a couple of times, so it'll be a bit of an experiment, but I'm sure it'll be nice!
Hope everyone has had a good day, I've been out this lunchtime/afternoon so missed some of the olympics annoyingly - watched the triathalon until they were just about to finish the cycling part :-(0 -
Hey guys.
I'm getting back into the swing of things after a great weekend and no eating out of stores.
Did have a takeaway for dinner, but for lunch I made a ginger, melon, strawberry, beetroot and pineapple smoothie, there was enough left for tomorrow and i had the last 2 of the chicken wings I seasoned yesterday along with the last chola from my Aunty, some pancetta and a beetroot, was nice, need to take something out for tomorrow's dinner and lunch, brekkie will be a smoothie and a breakfast bar, my Aunty gave me 5 packs.
Still need to put in the freezer, 2 packs of pancetta and 2 packets of mozerella balls, might take out something before i put them in though.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

Edwardia it was very painful (back to back labour) but it's only temporary pain. Once you're in labour it goes a lot quicker than you think
Child is up again with hollow legs ahhhhhhh!!!! He's going to be as tall as my father and with an appetite to match!
Chicken out of freezer. Not sure what to do with it yet. Chicken pasta bake maybe.Wife and mother :jGrocery budget
