 Leave my YS alone. :rotfl:

My sister lives in Cullercoast so I am over your way at weekends. I love StMarys lighthouse and longsands for the kids. Free entertainment. :T

I shop at MrT Chesterlestreet and MrS Teamvalley, sometimes Durham.

I must confess that I have never eaten at Ikea, is it cheap? :D

    Hi,
I've just found this site - just the focus I need to empty one large chest freezer, one medium chest freezer and one upright one! I don't even know what is in them any more.
    So, wish me luck.
    3 freezers, I thought I was bad with 2. :p

Hi, I am Susan. Maybe try a freezer inventory? Then meal plan from there.

NSD here too, trying to do some writing while OH is away but it's not going well. I think I made my plot too complicated in the first place and it's not working.

GB not doing bad medal-wise today :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Alsmum - welcome and good luck.
I'm toying whether to fill a small 3rd freezer with reduced ready meals!!
Probably better to donate it .................... which I did before about to get it back. Just glad it's been slightly delayed. lol

Ikea breakfast used to be only 99p with the "Family card" (FREE CARD) - breakfast £1.50 now since the increase, but small omelette instead of scrambled egg now. Free drinks also with "Family card"(UNLIMITED FREE HOT DRINKS).
    Offers Monday - Friday.

St Mary's Island is iconic - hubby wants his ashes scattered there.

NSD here today, never bothered going shopping after meal, which was nice.
    2 x carveries, 1 pint and a J2o for only £6.98 all in. lol

Haddock for fish-cakes looks too nice just to use on fish-cakes but was only 49p (from £3), so ok I suppose. Just seems a waste??

Edwardia - the medals are starting to come in now.

Soworried - i can deinitely recommend the Ikea breakfast!

we ventured to Ikea for the v.first time 2 weeks ago and DH had full breakfast, i had a bacon sarnie and unlimited tea/coffee ........all for £3.35 with the family card! (I think it may have been a previous post from Lynsey that alerted me to the breakfast, so ta Lynsey!) and we bought loads that we wanted in Ikea too; i found it all really good value for money and tbh if we lived closer i think the breakfast would be a regular feature for us.

    Hi all

Kat - so sorry to hear about your nan.:(

Not sure what happened to July. I think going holiday for the first week put me out of sync and coupled with the school hols the month has just flown past.

Just caught up with everyones posts. Glad to see many bargins being found and freezer space being cleared. Hello to the newbies.

Well as I said not much happened here in July so need to get myself back into action in August. Will do inventory of utility room freezer tomorrow and understairs cupboard on friday. Then enlist DH's help to do the chest freezer in the garage at the weekend. Then I can menu plan for the week and try and use up as much as possible. Will post my menu plan later.
