I really have a shopping problem, I just can't stay out of the shops
I went to MRT tonight (We don't have a MR A ) to get the Greens creme caramels and Greenes lemon pie fillings for 10p (I got 4 of each) and I spotted all the YS.
£29 later I leave the store with 5 carrier bags full of reduced items. I am giving my purse to my husband tomorrow and asking him not to hand it over until we REALLY need something.
I'm the same, I can't stop going to the Tesco Express near us in the evening when it is all reduced so much. I really really need to just eat up what we have in the house now, and not buy anymore!
Lynsey - hope all goes well at hospital0 -
Morning all. Looking fairly nice here. Just about to shove ds in the bath and finish off packing. Won't be eating from the freezer today. In fact for the next few days I can see me spending lots of money on very little!
Lynsey - wishing you luck for the hospital. Hope the food is to your liking and you don't have to go ys hunting. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
Hello smoosh
Today we have taken out cocktail sausages for lunches and smoked mackerel fillets for dinner. I'll serve them with YS stirfry I have in.
I refuse to go shopping and husband has my purse so nothing will go in.£36/£240

Lip_Stick - have a wonderful time !
Smoosh, welcome and happy hunting
Need to get dog food and something for dinner today. OH has taken out veal mince (3 for £10 Waitrose) from the freezer,so I guess it'll be spagless bog later in the week as we picked up more Seeds of Change organic pasta sauces at Tesco on Sunday on offer. He also took out some Tesco organic diced beef - hope that's better than their organic medallion steaks which were rubbish !0 -
Thanks for the welcome everyone
Currently munching my way through some of our cereal stock (I have a habit of buying boxes of cereal, eating about one bowl, and then never touching the box again). We have lots of Quorn chicken pieces in the freezer, so I think I'm going to make a bbq marinade for them and have that with chips for dinner
We have no fresh veg left and the milk is on the way out, so looks like I'll be doing a mini shop tomorrow.

Smoosh what about making cakes with the breakfast cereals in the style of rice krispie cakes ?
Called Tesco complained about the tough organic medallion steaks and they are sending me a gift card to cover the cost0 -

I did that with some stale coco pops last week, great idea! The only problem I had was trying to find something to bind them together. We didn't have any chocolate and I didn't really want to go buy any and I can't have marshmallows because I'm vegetarian. I ended up melting some sugar down and stirring them in
That's great news about Tesco!0
