 that is expensive!!! Is that on top of the entry to get in?? I've never been. We did go there when it was Windsor Safari Park, but that was a long time ago!
Yep that's on top of the entry fee. That entry fee is £45 for adults and £35 for kids!! Thank god I've got a buy one get one free voucher! £70 tho for a Q-bot is just ridiculous. You might as well get an annual pass and go for umpteen days.
hmm there's a parent and toddler voucher for £23... though the child has to be under 4. I was at the park the other day and there was a 3 year old bigger than ds lol. Still, not sure I'd get away with that, lol. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
Morning
Kat your not having the best of times at the moment, least the butcher is helping to cheer you up x
Bramble, sorry to hear about your split. x
Sausages have come out of the freezer today and some mashed squash and mashed swede. I'll make toad in the hole with veg. I need real food after all that stodge yesterday. It was a nice day though and it was the first time I have been out of the house in over 3 months for any length of time. :T
I'm not shopping today so I shouldn't put anything in unless there is left over toad in the hole.£36/£240

No sausages for breakfast here..had organic chestnut mushrooms fried in dripping, with a couple of free range eggs (just switched to Happy Eggs free range, 10 eggs for £2 in ASDA).
Looked in fridge and OH has taken at least half of the cheese shelf with him to work including my Brie (94p in Lidl)
OH said he would get stuff out the freezer for tonight yesterday and forgot, which means he's got either frozen Oinkers organic pizza or frozen organic Pegoty Hedge beef lasagne tonight (where do people get such stupid names from ?) and I've got prosciutto and salad unless I can thaw out the free range chicken wings.
Rubbish weather for July yet again.. don't feel like going out shopping at all.Need dog food, only have 1 can.

Morning all.
Minestrone soup for dinner and think it's chicken and broccoli crisp bakes with beans for tea. Might change that as I need to visit asda to sort out the face cream.
Not sure what the weather's going to be like in London. Looks warm but like it may have the odd shower. Best make sure I pack an umbrella.
Soworried - well done on getting out of the house. Hope you're proud of yourself. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. Hello everyone -
Lynsey - hope all goes well at hospital - are you having surgery?
Bramble - welcome back and sorry to hear about your break up. Hope you are coping okay.
Katskorner - hope your Nan improves and that your leg gets better soon.
I haven't been on the computer for a few days because on Saturday I dislocated my knee cap - It happens sometimes and usually clicks back in by itself but this time it didn't and the pain was immense. I couldn't put any weight on it. I was just getting organised to go to the doctors today for a referral when it went back in, although it is still painful. At least I can move it now though!! I might still get a referral though because it keeps happening.
Have been quite good at eating stuff up the last few days as I haven't been out to the shops. Yesterday we had sausages out of the freezer, mashed sweet potatoes and onion gravy, which was delicious and for tea I did omelette and oven chips.
Today I had weetabix for breakfast and have just had the leftover sausage, potato and onion gravy for lunch. DD2 is off school now so I have done her some pasta bake with veg in and cheese on top. She isn't up yet though!!
It is still really rainy here today - the grass in my back garden is past ankle height!!
Hope everyone is okay.Jane

No surgery (I hope), just some tests.
I was thinking of asking if I could have a brain transplant when I'm in there ................................ hubby's would be perfect ..................... he's hardly used it ........................... might even still be in the wrapper. :rotfl:
Hope you're not too sore.
This thread is like a "Geriatrics Ward". lol
Never a week goes by without some ailment or other - hope all are well though.
Soworried - hopefully you are on the mend, little by little, step by step.
Lip_Stick - hope you get the weather you deserve and both of you have a great time.
Did Brother's shopping and spent £1.98 on cream scones (half-price offer @ 59p for 2), reduced flat mushrooms @ 39p and some gammon ham (on offer @ 75p per 100g) for £1.
Had the scones with coffee and not really hungry, think stir fry will be out (unless hubby fancies it later) and probably just a ham sandwich for lunch.
Last chance saloon for cheap veg at Sainsbury's tonight or hubby will have to buy some (if needed). I've told him to keep any receipts if he spends.

I've now gotten into the habit of making big batches of food, then pouring it into tuppawares and freezing it.
Currently have 4 Thai Green Curries (with rice), 4 Chicken Korma (with rice)
Costs about £2 per meal if you cook it all from scratch. Just need to come up with more recipes of stuff I can freeze and reheat nicely.0 -
Edwardia, I just noticed that MR T has reduced the ghee. It is £2.50 for 500g. The brand is East end. I'm not sure if this is cheaper than you get it for at the moment.
Lynsey, I hope the hospital goes well for you x£36/£240

I really have a shopping problem, I just can't stay out of the shops
I went to MRT tonight (We don't have a MR A ) to get the Greens creme caramels and Greenes lemon pie fillings for 10p (I got 4 of each) and I spotted all the YS.
£29 later I leave the store with 5 carrier bags full of reduced items. I am giving my purse to my husband tomorrow and asking him not to hand it over until we REALLY need something.£36/£240
