I'm eating out of the freezer and cupboards challenge

Cleaned out the fridge, left one of the glass panels on the floor, cue my foot stepping on it *crunch* - most expensive fridge clean I've ever done
Now need to buy a replacement, that'll teach me to be domesticated!
Found two tubs of philadelphia which need to be eaten by 5th july - any good ideas except the obvious on crackers/jacket pots etc?0 -

Ammonite what about a cheese cake? Using it in. Cheesy pasta, or a base for a white sauce, just add milk.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

Thanks Edwardia.Half Price Nescafe Coffee
Was £ 8.49 now £ 4.24
£8.49 for 200g. lol
My Nescafe bargain hunting is over as I found out the Nestle Factory Shop often has 200g for only £2.
I've enough left to last the year, but will stock up again before Xmas.
No further spends, but I'll get the milk tomorrow and may actually try Tesco tomorrow night to see if there are any bargains.
I've got a few coupons to use (£1 fab conditioner and only £1 so free) - start my Son's next hamper.
Making cottage pie for tomorrows main meal and porridge for myself for breakfast, hubby can have a bacon sandwich.
Friday will be last veggie day and then it'll have to be fish days to get rid of some fish stash.
Sausages is my Lidl meat offer and may actually buy 4 packs as well down on sausages.
Talking of Mars Bars, I haven't bought any in ages. I only used to buy when they worked out at 20p each (eg: 5 for £1) - I much prefer Lidl's half-price chocolate - still some left and did put 6 bars in Son's last hamper - must have caught me on an off day!!!

Ammonite - I second what the others have said - it makes lovely sauce thinned down with a bit of milk - I use it to make beef strogonoff.
Lynsey how do you get so many coupons? I have printed two off for the Kleenex but it won't let me print any more as it says that my print limit is reached. This happens for alot of the others too.
Both DD's were supposed to be out for tea tonight so I was just going to make myself a bit of this and that and enjoy not having to cook, when first one and then the other arrived home and hadn't had anything to eat. I was proud of myself because I rustled up a really nice roast dinner in about 30 minutes using the Lidl frying steak, Aunt Bessie's carrot and swede, peas, mash (out of what I froze the other week) little roast potatoes, gravy and home made yorkshire pudding. I'd already eaten so didn't have any but the other two loved it!
Didn't bake this afternoon as spent most it looking at mini ovens on the internet! After my £880 electric and gas combo bill for this quarter  I am looking at ways to reduce our electricity usage. It's hard as both girls leave everything switched on. Often I come down in the morning )if I've gone to bed before DD2 has come in from a night out) and the oven in on full because she has heated up pizza or oven chips when she has got in. They also leave lights on everywhere, tellies on standby all over the house, computers left on all over the place, straighteners left on - it drives me mental.
Have just got some Tesco finest quarterpounders out of the freezer for tomorrow (they're the fresh ones that I bought ys and froze), and in the morning I will probably make some bread rolls for them and we can have them for tea with salad tomorrow.
Need to go and make packed lunch for DD2 for tomorrow. DD1 and I are going out to lunch with my sister (who has just come back from an all inclusive 5* holiday in Turkey and who does my head RIGHT in).
Am also pleased that out of the 12 Muller corners I bought a week or so ago all have been eaten except one, which is amazing as I always have to throw them out (just shows if there's nothing else then they will eat them).
Hope all who are under the weather are okay.Jane

They are only the Lenor 500ml ones Tesco sell for £1.
Coupons were ones I hadn't printed from the SSM Mission Control on Facebook. I need to use them by 30th June.
Jane - 2 coupons per pc.

Cheesecake is out at the moment because of baby ammonite being onboard. Not sure why but that's what the midwife said. Could go a massive piece right now too:D:rotfl:
Thanks for the heads up per PC Lynsey0 -
Hello everyone
hope we're all well. Ammonite that's crap about the glass plate in your fridge but I'll remember in future to not put I on the floor when I'm cleaning out the fridge.
Been a busy one here the baby is into everything and even stood unaided for a few seconds! I spent £10 today in m&s on 12-18 month vests for him which seemed a bit steep but the quality is wonderful and they'll keep for our next baby.
This week so far I've managed to use 1kg of mince (500g went into a bolognese which was awful no idea what happened there), 1kg of blueberries which were reduced to 98p. They were used up as snacks, in smoothies and blended down and frozen in ice cube trays for the baby. My oh used up 2 packets of cous cous and a sea salt and rosemary bread. Other things used up were a pineapple, apples, some milk (we don't use a lot of it right now) and an apple strudel that was lurking in the bottom of the chest freezer.Wife and mother :jGrocery budget
