    Afternoon all.

I had 2 satsumas for breakfast, just had lunch, last sausage and last of the cheesey pasta, the rest is frozen, have also taken out the last ready meal from freezer for dinner, with veg, need to take out something for tomorrows dinner, will have a jacket for tomorrows lunch may take out some cheese or use last can of tuna in cupboard not sure yet., the using up is going well, off to costco on sunday, so will continue until then, on monday im off on a break, bak on friday, so start filling freezer gaps with whoopsies from then on.

Off to do a job in asda which is 35 minute walk each way, so a bit of exercise there, will also check out whoopsies while i am there still just fruit and veg, gonna look for some healthy cheap snacks while there, hopefully they have the strawberry beans i like lol,may take my last mccains voucher and my last kingsmill voucher if they are still in date lol.

Bought an aliminium folder on groupon, used a credit, so free, 2 credits left, i regret not buying the banksy mug tbh, but next time i wont hesitate.

  • Afternoon everyone :)

Today I have cleared out my cupboards like lynneee and got some stuff out of my storage bag to go in the kitchen - getting there with this now.

I used up the last of our sliced bread to have jam on toast for breakfast - now we have wraps & pitta breads left in the freezer. For lunch I had a can of Cambells condensed tomato soup I got with coupons last year and the last of some very yummy YS cheese topped rolls from ASDA.

We're having tea at my parents house which will be nice so that is sorted - just need the sun to come back out!

Maise M Have a lovely holiday. Lucky thing :)

Edwardia and Quintwins Glad you're feeling better.

Emmajane and Eleanor Welcome to the thread. I'm sure you'll both find the support and ideas on here a real help. I do. When I joined a few months ago my freezer was embarrassingly full and also my partner's 3 freezers at his house needed drastic action! All sorting well now :)

    Lyneee £100 for 3 weeks for 5 people....**gulp** I don't think I could do that for the 2 of us :( But good luck :) I'm sure you'll succeed.

Lyndsey Missing out on baby things is surely a good thing...expensive things babies LOL

Lip_Stick I hope you feel miles better soon.

I'm sure this thread must be spreading germs, so many of us poorly on here ! I'm off work ill too so not really into any cooking at the mo. Used up some meatballs and hm tomato sauce( that had been lurking for months in the freezer) last night for DS's tea. Have pulled out some hm bolognaise sauce (freezer again) for him for when he gets in from work at 10.30pm, and a salmon steak for me (again freezer) cos it's light and the only thing I fancy right now. It helps not being out and about cos I'm not tempted to pop to M's on way home from work.

Maisie M have a great vacation

    pixnmix thank you :o

Lip_Stick aww I hope you feel much better soon. I find (even tho normally I low carb) that when feeling poorly there's nothing like macaroni cheese :D

OH keeps pulling stuff out the freezer so there's still the Gressingham duck breasts from the weekend which OH was supposed to cook for his rolls last night (instead he took loads of cheese) to which he added the Tesco venison grill steaks which were on offer, and a couple of whole trout (2 for £4) from ASDA.

NSD for me, sorting out a list of organic special offers to vacuum up ;)

D - Tesco special offer venison grill steaks with HM (organic) cauliflower cheese (another Tesco offer) and possibly organic green beans if any left.

Evening all. Spent most of the day in bed aching, with no energy. Not felt like eating but cooked the fish pie and had a bit but ended up giving most of it to the rats. Knew I was coming down with something last night when I didn't finish my tea lol. Highly unusual. :o

Mam and dad are looking after ds for the evening. Really regretting having that day off college last week now. Hopefully I'll be feeling better by then. Ds didn't take long to get over his.

Maisie - Have a fab holiday!

Edwardia - will consider that macaroni, although I'd have to cook it from scratch and really cba lol.

pixnmix - you're right about there being a lot of germs about. It's like winter with all these horrible bugs.

ammonite - wishing you a speedy recovery. x

Off back to bed after my cuppa.
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

feeling much better now so sending get well vibes to everyone. I meant to say I had some of those Maggi season n shake bags in you know the plastic bags which you put chicken in, it marinates and you cook in its juices? Yes, those ones, never used them of course (have 4) - tried the BBQ one and it was delicious. Not one to encourage others to purchase things ;) if anyone was fed up of plain chicken, I can highly recommend them (and they are often cheap in Home Bargains!)

Probably should have started this when I was feeling better as I am still not eating properly. A lot of the food I have is spicy so defo don't fancy any of that. Job number one is to sort out my two main food cupboards and clear the Approved Food 'corner'. Once that is done I will try to do a wee meal plan :)

Hope everyone else is feeling better. I am on day 7 of a tummy bug and am thoroughly depressed!
Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.
