1st time insurance for £2500 isn't that bad Lynsey.

 You can get a 3 bedroom semi up here for that!!

    Well, exaggerating ....................................... only a 2 bedroom flat. :D

Not hungry at all, but don't want to cancel Groupon.
3 courses is putting me off - rather just have the starter and dessert. lol
Not much to waste (money-wise) as it only cost £1 each plus drinks.

See what Asda has tonight - wouldn't mind cheap sausages and veg.

Weather has definitely picked up today, hoping for a nice weekend - longest day soon and then downhill to winter!!!

  • ms_night-ryder - sorry I misunderstood!! Mind you are you sure your aren't pg? When I found out I was having DD2 I was on the lookout for wise men and shepherdsfor months after the birth.

Have just made the spicy green rice and it wasn't nice - I think the last time I had it I had the ordinary spicy rice - never mind!! I tarted it up with some sweetcorn and lemon juice and it was edible.

DD2 had her vegetable curry and told me that she was fed up being a vegetarian and ate some of the steak - teenagers!!

evening all! Hope everyone is ok :)
Went to Mr M's last night and got loads of reduced bready things so freezer is full again (who can resist 6 croissants for 19p??!!) which are not going to help my weightwatchers! On a positive note, I lost 5lbs when I weighed in so yay me!!!
So it was smoked salmon salad for tea, with a garlic bread from the freezer. :)
    mortgage £800 overpayment 2022. £600/£2400 2023 🙂 savings £1853/£1800 😊

Italian meal was really nice and actually better than last time.
Almost ate it all and only left a little lasagne.

Not many bargains in Asda, but they had loads of bread things/scones/doughnuts etc for only 10p - this was the Asda that sometimes gives the bread away.
Only bought a pack of scones and a pack of paninis - so only 20p spent on food budget.
Non food budget - another 3 litres of Chardonnay at £3 litre.

M&S Outlet shop had loads of underwear for £1 each.
Anyone a size 8 would have been spoilt for choice ........................... but no way am I putting on weight just for cheap underwear. :D

Cheap food budget day - only £1.20 spent.
Have another look tomorrow night in Sainsbury's.

Veggie day tomorrow, so probably cheese on toast and Linda Mc burgers.

Recover lmao stop it hahahahaha! it would be immaculate conception at this point, deffo not preggo!

Gosh i did not realised how much i have missed chicken, i made the chicken in sc with herbs and spices it was smelling good all day and tastes so yummy, so simple just added onion, peppers, soy sauce, white wine vineagar, chilli powder, paprika, mixed herbs, garlic and a little honey as i went a bit ott with chilli powder, but the results were yum, havent had chicken and rice in ages, will buy some more chicken, had it with brocolli, carrots and green beans.

Got leftovers for tomorrow. might take out a couple slices of pizza for lunch, then again may not.

Had a really miserable time at zumba, was feeling slightly angry for no reason, im thinking this may have been to do with the fact that all i had was an apple, satsuma and twix all day, either that or im getting bored of zumba? will try again on monday hopefully i will feel different, just feeling really irritable and moany of late for no reason, very strange.

  • I watched that programme tonight - "the men who made us fat" and thought it was brilliant and it has really inspired me to keep trying to eat more healthily and cut right back on sugar.

Having said that I then went into the kitchen and ate half a jar of Whole Earth chocolate spread on buttered ryvitas - mmm... not quite what I had intended.

Got a chicken breast out of the freezer for tomorrow and some sweetcorn out of the freezer too for DD's tuna and sweetcorn sandwich for packed lunch. Freezer is still stuffed to the gunnels though - but there is quite a bit of reduced bread in there and loads of frozen veg and bags of frozen apples. I really don't think I will have to do a big shop before the end of the month and I really must stop going to Asda before I put on stones with the rtc stuff!!

Can feel myself starting with a cold - sneezing, tickly cough and achy - have taken some parcetamol to try and ward it off. I have loads of work to do tomorrow so will really try and resist going to ANY shops! I think I will also give away the rest of the Whole Earth chocolate spread before I start crushing ryvitas and mixing them with it to make hm Ferrero Rocher.

I never got to Sainsburys last night to check for reductions as I am not well enough to drive at the minute and my husband was watching the football.
I need to go shopping today as we are down to just 1 banana, 1 grapefruit and 1 apple. Between the 4 of us that won't last the day.
Nothing out of the freezer today but I will be using up veg to go with the chicken.

Recovering, The HM ferreros sound very nice. :)
