Mr F only got 2 slices of HM bread and a tub of HM crumble out of the freezer last night. I will have to tell him - must do better! :rotfl:

Can't say I'm a fan of Chicken Tonight, it was gloopy. Served it with rice and peas, and red pepper and onion. Hope it's got a long shelf life as I don't fancy it anytime soon. Mam said she thinks Ragu is a bit gloopy when I mentioned it the other day. Hope it's not.

The asda blueberry and oat muffins that I made with ds tonight, on the other hand are absolutely gorgeous. Nice and crunchy on the top from the oats and really soft in the middle.

Meal tomorrow might be changing. Still having chicken but not sure what with. Don't have some of the ingredients for Kung Po chicken and tomorrow will be a nsd!
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

I'm hoping so. Just did one last week and 1st for a while due to holidays. Still got 2 to use up, so need to stock up on Groupons - another 4 would be nice.

Edwardia - still going with the veggie days until end of June (2 per week) and I'll see it out. I won't continue with it though, just go with the flow!! Still eat veggie meals, but not 2 veggie days per week.

Veggie day tomorrow as I did eat the cottage pie (really lovely topped with cheese). Finished off the scones with jam and whipped cream - I must have been hungry. :D
Macoroni cheese for main meal, toasted tea-cakes for breakfast and probably another cheese and onion toastie.

Morries tomorrow for Brothers shopping and 2 x L'Oreal coupons to use up (skincare). Not much need yet though until mid-week, bargain hunting only and any great offers.
Check out Sainsbury's late tomorrow night and might visit Iceland to see if they have the 8 chunky Kit-Kats for £1.

Can I ask what this is please?:T

    Hi Lynsey

    Whats the groupon deal please?

    Thanks

Today we had sea bass from the freezer with salad. Kids had fish finger, chips and veg.

Yesterday, the kids and i had cottage pie with mince from the freezer and OH had game pie, both game mix and pastry from freezer (would normally make my own pastry but got this one whoopsied for 29p ages ago)

Tomorrow we are having chicken (from freezer) stir fry with noodles, kids will have tuna pasta as they need to eat early due to DS needing to go football at 6.

I can slowly see a gap in the freezer :T although it is only a very small gap :o

We had roast potatoes, roast parsnips, chicken casserole with carrot, onion and swede for dinner.
The tub Mr F got out of the freezer thinking it was casserole - was in fact chicken stir fry. I added some water and gravy granules to it.
Mr F got some cooked sausages and bacon out of the freezer for tomorrow night's dinner. He also got out some HM pastry - will do a pie. Bit of space in that freezer now.
Out of the other freezer came a tub of HM crumble and a toastie sandwich.

Florenceem how bizarre turning a stir fry Into a casserole, I never would have thought of that

For Dinner I didn't know what to have, then I remembered the Tesco finest burgers, went to Mr s for some burger but they had none and no good whoopsies, so I left, was just going to have 2 burgers, took them out and they were bigger than expected, ao had one, took out a giant pitta to go with it, ended up cutting the pitta In half adding the last of the cucumber and light mayo and reggae ketchup, was yummy.

Not sure what tomorrow holds, off to a spa for treatment prob have a late lunch out.

Another NSD, so no pennies spent this week so far, just the freebies.

Apple pie was lovely and not much left.
Not sure about tomorrow yet, bus possibly the last chicken en-croute for main meal. It will be chicken though.
Hubby's off, so may get rid of some more trout fillets.

Buying tomorrow and visiting M&S Outlet shop - B&M also on same retail park, so have a look there also as craving crisps!!

Lip_Stick - I'm not a fan now of jar sauces, though the Dallaglio ones are pretty good .................... and they were free (still 20+ to get rid of).

OH and I have decided to go organic as much as poss. It started when I found out that Tesco puts dried glucose syrup, sodium acetate and 11% added water in their pork loin steaks (customer service admitted it), totally un-necessary as ASDA was doing the same weight pork loin steaks, same offer and zero added water and chemicals.

Then I found out that ASDA and Morrisons allow farmers to feed GM feed to amimals and poultry and don't label this on the meat, poultry, eggs etc and that the Red Tractor scheme allows this too ( I emailed or called all these companies myself btw). Morrisons admits the only way to avoid GM-fed animals in their own brands is to eat organic.

Sainsbury's aren't as bad, there's a list of what they allow to be fed GM feed or not and Waitrose doesn't allow it at all. But as Sainsbury's is reviewing and Waitrose says it's difficult to do, we just though s*d it let's go organic.

B - Bubble and Squeak without mash
L- Brie and beetroot salad with wild rocket and HM dressing
D - me 2 fried free range eggs with frozen peas, organic chestnut mushrooms and a couple of frozen ASDA Chosen By You Omega 3 fish fingers (lowest carb fish fingers I could find) OH - couple of ASDA trout fillets stuffed with spinach and ricotta, from the freezer plus frozen peas and McCain's oven chips from the freezer

Ooh Edwardia, your meals sound lovely and flavoursome and it was interesting to see what you had found out about the various retailers. Its worrying that they don't have to declare exactly what has gone on!!
This morning I have taken some mince out of the freezer and I can now see a "little" space in there - must resist the urge to go and fill those gaps as I have a meat delivery coming in a fortnight!!
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

    Morning.

Edwardia - I hate seeing meat/food with "added water". Frozen prawns with the "protective glaze" - double glaze sometimes!!

Breakfast, just simple toast and as above, took out the trout fillets and chicken en-croute (having with roast veg). Apple pie to finish.
Took out a belly pork joint for tomorrow, but put it back as forgot about Groupon. Maybe a burger or something instead tomorrow??

Catch up later, away most of the morning.
