Just had a quick look in the freezer and it seems that one draw is just full of gammon. Joints and steaks. Will be oinking by the end of the week! Can make a soup and some pease pudding out of the joints stock and use the meat for sandwiches and have the steaks with baked potatoes and veg. Sounding good already although probably not that healthy with all that meat. It's the unidentified bags that I'm more curious about and what to do with 10 packets of noodles and copious amounts of tinned tuna.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I wish I had some gammon jojo.
    Have you tried Viking gammon??

Grill gammon steaks, and once cooked coat one side with honey, top with grated cheese and sliced tomato. Grill or bake until cheese has melted. I do this in a pyrex dish to save the jucies and pour them over the gammon. Other variations and you could leave out the honey.

    Lovely jubbly.

Hi everyone. Am brand new to this site and came across this thread and I think it's fate that today I had already decided to not buy any more food (apart from basics) until everything is gone in my kitchen. Have major cash probs atm.....in fact have no income or benefits coming in due to problems and having to leave my job.....so really have to tighten my belt.

I have a funny feeling that most of the meals will be random as there is so much different stuff in the cupboards that probably shouldnt go together. Anywho I hope you don't mind me tagging along and lets see how this goes xx

welcome to the thread!! A lot of my meals are random, it makes life more interesting ;)

I've found some smoked haddock lurking in the bottom of the freezer so having that with green beans and mixed florets for lunch. Have some falfalels to eat still. Must find a way of using those up. In pittas?
