Uuurrrggghh I'm ill and don't want to meal plan :-(

No breakfast for me. Guess I'll have some of my manky lentil soup for lunch and the girls can have sandwiches. And for tea... Perhaps brown rice and fishcakes with some frozen veggies

Very jealous of your ikea breakfast Lynsey! Enjoy your hunting!!

  • One fridge-freezer and a couple of groaning cupboards here!

I was congratulating myself on making "store cupboard" salade nicoise for lunch today as it used up some of the excess...(tinned tuna, chopped tinned potatoes, a couple of boiled eggs, cooked frozen green beans, cherry tomatoes and chopped peppers - with chopped capers and black olives and herbs from the garden, olive oil, vinegar and garlic).

Then went in to Mr Tesco this afternoon, to find that the chill cabinet stuff was being reduced by 90% - so back to square one, but I'm stocked up with fish pie mix at 33p a pack.

Uh oh. I decided to go get some stir fry for tea cause ive got a cupboard full of crab (mmm crab stir fry) and as I walked past the whoopsies I spied CHEESE and in my new wow I can freeze cheese state I bought £12.50 worth of cheese! I only paid 94p for it all!! That justifies it? Yes!! Lol. So now my empty drawer is full of cheese. Think it's going to take a year to shift it all. Cheese sauce here I come!!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning.

Never had the sausage for dinner last night as we weren't hungry, but cooked them and make a sausage casserole for today.
Had Ikea brakfast and "snacky things" yesterday and lost appetite.

I'll check out the 10p soups later - thanks.

I need to go and get a few bits, DS's packed lunch looked pitiful this morning, and apart from 3 sad looking bananas we have no fruit - bananas will be turned into banana bread later, OH had toast this am but only had h/m jam not marmalade to which he said -oh we are budgeting aren't we:p before he went off to the garage for sandwiches - no wonder he spends all his 'pocket' money:mad:
