I have spinach in loads of things. A bit in salads, a bit in stir fry, sometimes in mash. But a quiche is a good way to use a chunk of it up. Mmmm. Quiche. :j

No idea what I'm going to create today. Made a lentil and carrot soup the other day.

It tasted like nutty crap and because of the garlic and onions to tryto make it edible I did not smell very pleasant at zumba last night!! I swear people were moving away from me!!

Worst thing is I've got a load more to eat up!! Aaarrrggghh.

Think I'm just going to not eat today. Easier than forcing brain power today:(

Yesterday I had Potato Waffles, baked beans (from the freezer) and a grilled tomato. I have only 4 PWs left and transferred them from the box to a small food bag.

I buy a bag of mixed fresh peppers and quarter and deseed them. I put this all in the freezer and take out the frozen quarters as needed and cut off what I need. Nothing is soggy nothing is wasted and I can get a variety of colours/ chunks /thin slices.

So glad I saw your post, I buy a mix bag of 3 every week and always end up throwing half of each colour away. I had no idea they could be frozen so off to bag whats left now and this will save me £1.65 this weekend. Thanks x :T

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning.

Took out Sainsburys (reduced) Bramley Apple and Pork sausages for tea tonight. Thinking of just having with jacket or roast potatoes, or maybe roast veg. Still need some veg, only bought milk, muffins and a packet of sweets in Lidl yesterday - only £2.30 spent and well on target. :j :money:

Out most of the day today, breakfast in Ikea (99p with free coffee and re-fills), then with "Safari Suits" on - "Big Sale Hunting" at the Metro Centre.

hello everyone, been following this thread for the last week, and would like to join in.
like yourselfs i have cupboards and 2 freezers fit to bursting, there was 3 of us, but one moved into his own place yesterday, he will still be helping me reduce my food at tea times lol, at least for this week, til he gets organised, then there will just be me and ds2, who also will be moving on shortly
spending money kitting one flat has made me skint this month, so going to use what we have in order to reduce supermarket spending
loves to knit and crochet for others
