^ Blackpool wasn't one of those parks that introduced the no own food rule was it??? I can't remember which ones did, I always take my own food everywhere. Been over 30 years since I have been there, it's probably changed a lot!!

I'm on rations as all my bills keep going up, still on JSA and just cancelled my internet access hoping for a better deal, I may say goodbye to you all in a month if they don't ring me back lol

    Breakfast - toast & marmite
    Lunch - toast & cheese
Dinner - last of the offer price Peri Peri veg burgers with allotment potatoes and some salad from the pet's box and some allotment shallots.

Dug up a celeriac today so will turn that into something next week.

Went to Asda, small spend, 2 things for pets and butter for me, had to get non organic due to lack of choice, but got President butter for £1.21 (gone up to £1.40 in Morries this week).

Will catch up with all the others posts while I've been out now.

*delurks* I've had that twice - I was trying to print all mine for Tesco, tried for Sainsburys for the two affected, and it worked! Also it was just the two that were causing problems, I could print the others out fine, so worth trying if you have more. :) *relurks*

Thanks for that. I shall give that a try. ;)
and a heaped tbs of Milo powder. It tastes nice!!

Jane, where do you buy your Milo from? I've been getting it from Amazon for my dad but its quite dear.
Got loads when AP Foods were selling it for 99p a fair bit back but now I'm paying around £10 for 4 tins.

Kirri, squash burgers are fab, I do mine with cumin, chilli and garlic and bind with a little oil and some breadcrumbs, so tasty!

I looked at the cajun spice and decided not to spend the £1.57!
So might go with your suggestions and a bit of whatever else is in the cupboard :D

My head is battered.................chill out time now!!!

Jane, never been to Blackpool in ages, hope you enjoy [STRIKE]sitting in Starbucks[/STRIKE] watching your daughter and friend on the rides. lol

Kirri do you have any nice recipes for veggie burgers??

Not going back out, so only the £1 spent today. Took out a packet of 10p pate for pate on toast tomorrow for breakfast. Not too sure on rest of day.
Got loads of onions, so may look at those onion bhaji recipes and see what spices I need. Wouldn't mind trying those tomorrow or Sunday. Never ever succeeded in making good ones yet, but that bag of gram flour needs using up!

That's still a work in progress, all the veg burgers I've made so far have been eatable but I'm still looking for a really good recipe... I'm going to make a batch soon with a new recipe or two so will report back!

Try the river cottage ones, I've got to do some myself as gram flour goes out of date quick and then it has a funny smell...

    NSD for me!

OH has been paid by cheque so aside from bread and lunch bits I can't spend any more!

Dinner was scrambled egg on toast, and have lifted crumpets out for OH.

Planning on another reduced WW pizza for dinner tomorrow, and lunch not sure! Will have earned whatever I have though!

Planning on making drop scones for Sunday's breakfast :)

    Evening all

Comp was playing up last night and this morning so took it to get fixed today. Didn't pay anything as I think the lad who looked at it last didn't do it right. Seems to be ok now but may need to buy a new fan in the near future.

Spent £2, £1 on a loaf of bread and £1 on some caramel eggs.. oh and 20p on a hulk comic from library. It's a graphic novel so is for kids far older than ds, but he insists on me reading it.

Had fish and chips for dinner and rice and chicken for tea... I had tikka massala, ds had a pasta sauce.

Kirri... please sort out some internet access.. can't you hijack someone's wifi?? :D

Cooked a 2nd portion of rice so will have spicy rice for dinner, off out in the evening for a mates birthday.

Cherrypie.. glad you all had a good day for your lo's birthday. :)

Lynsey - why is your head battered?
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.
  • Tonight came very close to involving the local Chinese takeaway as been busy making a friends birthday cake but resisted the urges!

Had a salmon fillet (from the freezer), topped with sweet chilli sauce, the last of a packet of wild rice, so that's another odd end finished yey and frozen spinach. Oh and an aero icecream that told me it needed eating, along with some liquorice jelly bellys!
I love food, hate waste and have a penchant for sparkly things ::D

Trying to find a work life balance...:rotfl:

I could probably sit in the communal hallway in hope lol :D

I've found a good Sky deal with great cashback AND £100 M&S voucher I could make good use of (clothes/food!), am waiting to see if Virgin can match it, if not I may have a gap in service till I get set up with a new provider  I'd never survive without my net access or my Sunday night fix of True Blood on FX!

I've been surfing deals all night when I really should of been baking something for visitors over the weekend, might try and rustle up some quick almond biscuits in the morning as I have all the ingredients here.

Bureaucracy - and a few little hurdles to jump over, four in fact - over one, just three more to get over!!!
Hope your pc is finally sorted, sounds like an issue we had when we changed the fan on a laptop! It's in the loft somewhere!! Laptops can be bought now for around £200 and ideal for surfing, couponing etc. I wouldn't pay too much to get one fixed (a cheap basic one anyway), if I can get four or five years out of one, I'm happy - it's normally paid for itself many times over due to cashback and couponing and of course glitches.

Hope you can find a great deal Kirri.
I'll check out that gram flour later to see if it's OK.

Not too hungry this morning, but pate needs used this morning.
Haven't got a clue what we'll be eating today!! I was thinking of taking a turkey joint I got "whoopsied" in December, but that's for another day. If I get some mozzarella, I might do some naan bread pizzas and make some more potato skins.
My brother wants a few things from Lidl!! I never planned on going there today as nothing needed, but will probably go at lunch-time and pop into Tesco to use some more coupons. Start stocking up on toothpaste to get me through to the end of 2013. lol
Need to shuffle the freezer drawers a little and get what I need used all together.

Short on biscuits now and may get a packet or two and possibly some more cheap crisps from Home Bargains or B&M Stores......or both!! Need flavoured water - forgot the other day!! Probably buy a bottle of olive oil from HB, normally around £1.50 there.

Milk needed soon, I'll probably leave that until 3pm tomorrow and see what Sainsbury's have.............18p more there though!!! Maybe I'll get four pints today instead from Lidl?
