  • Cherrypies - thanks for the heads up about Bury market. My sister couldn't go today so we are going on Tuesday - looking forward to it!

My Lidl has mince, potatoes, lucozade and caramel shortcakes this weekend so I won't be buying anything out of that.

Just been to Aldi with my £5 off voucher and my vouchers for 35% off the extra virgin olive oil and the honey. Bought lots of cleaning stuff and laundry liquid - I have tried all the different ones and still go back to the almat 2 in 1. Also got bacon, gnocchi, pasta, various veg and fruits, cheese and butter - so now my fridge looks quite healthy!!

Went to Tesco, got essentials: tinned toms, milk, pepper...and the not so essentials: smoked salmon & fish & chips ready meal :o But in my defence they were whoopsies & the latter's for Monday, a hectic day with a long train journey, and stops me getting a takeaway.

I think really, I'm trying to plan better & get things that will go with other food I already have, rather than just random buying which I think I was doing before.

Been to Lidl and got my bag of onions, keep in cold garage and should keep well. 2 x tubes of tomato puree and a bag of sugar - total spend so far = £2.98.
I think spag bol tastes much nicer and a little sweeter using turkey mince.
Making some home-made chips later to use some potatoes up. Took out some beef sausages for tomorrows lunch, either sausage casserole or sausage and mash with veg?? Have a jumbo prawn stir fry tomorrow night.
Used quite a few coupons in Tesco and printed some more off for next week - send my son a nice little hamper in about 2 weeks!! Should save him and his flat mates quite a "few bob".
Might try Sainsburys again at 7.30pm, but shouldn't really go as I need nowt!!

Such a fab idea, think I will do this for my friends as they've moving into together in a few weeks, first home for them but they've got a lot of household stuff, so think they would really appreciate that

Well i came home and realised I hadnt prepared anything for dinner, have lunch for tomorrow but no dinner, realised if I was to have take away I would have to go to the cashpoint which i didn't want to do, my fridge has only eggs, butter and condiments, apples oranges and a mango a potatoes on the turn and some onions, nothing to make a meal really LOL, luckily I remembered the half rotisserie chicken and the last of the curly fries, just the dregs and not loads, phew was considering eating tomorrow's lunch. Both In The oven will have with mayo or ketchup with it, really doing well with this, next month the stockpiling restarts but I have had fun using up all my whoopsies and bargain finds and of course staying on budget.

Went back to t's and got 1 more parazone it was the last 1, also the last persil and one big bottle of flash, paid £4.20 for all after coupon, well pleased and still within budget lol

    Evening all

Had a nice afternoon at park, it felt pretty warm so bought ds and I an icecream... £3.40 for two! Went to asda and bought some whoopsies so we had hunters chicken for tea with peas, spuds and sweetcorn. In the middle of eating it ds gave me a kiss and hug for making a lovely tea... thank goodness he doesn't understand the concept of ready meals. :D

Has quorn and mushroom escalopes for dinner with salad. Will probably do the chicken korma for tea tomorrow. Don't need any thing from shops so won't be going, til monday hopefully.

Managed to print out a few coupons this morning with SSM fb but comp has been playing up this evening so taking it in tomorrow.
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

Hoping for a NSD tomorrow if possible, only shop I may go into will be Sainsburys late tomorrow night.
Definitely NOT going to Morries on Saturday night, hope the "bread reducer" doesn't miss me. lol
SSM Facebook still going, thought it would get pulled - they must still have loads of coupons to give away - great promotion, wonder how much it has cost them?? They've had great publicity though. Wish they'd do some food coupons!!
