Is this an old coupon you have saved or is it a current one? Thanks

    It's a saved one.

Spent £3.20 in Sainsbury's, no real value "whoopsies" though. Got milk, ice cream and a pancake mix (ready for next week).

Lovely Italian Groupon though (I'm stuffed), rest of turnovers tomorrow with ice cream.

getting a bit dull again though just eating what I have to rather than buying something different from the shop..

Total spend in Feb so far £47.39 (£22.89 food and £24.50 fruit/veg)

That's why I like to buy "bit 'n' bobs", could never just adapt to what I have.
Not a bad spend though for you, just added my days spend and now gone over the £100.
Still well pleased though and not much needed, never got to Morries and will get the carrots on Saturday possibly.
Need to write a small list for the weekend, struggling to find cheap coriander!!

No, it's not ideal though if I hadn't stocked up too much in the first place I wouldn't have to do this lol. It's like an endurance eating test! I'm probably going to buy something like veg sausages as I need something to go with the swede, I have a lot of food but nothing that goes with mashed swede really! Not really any good Quorn offers around though.. You're doing better than me on the spends, that is impressive for 2.

In the future I will be Ms Minimalist freezer :D

Morries have the nice loose bunches of coriander now though Asda do even bigger loose bunches which seem good value when I've got them. Might be bigger than what you want though?! Asian supermarkets are best for coriander, usually about half the price and twice the size!

Sorry, should have said ground coriander for soups etc. I think I got it last time in ASDA. Sainsburys only had the Schwartz stuff for £1.50'ish for a small jar!!!! ASDA is only 50p when in stock, but the 400g bags can be found for about £1 sometimes.

My spends have been low so far, but I probably started with approx 5 or 6 months worth of food. Most of my spends have been on reduced items, so the £100+ is well over £100 worth of food. I remember you saying/asking if it was better running everything down and just buy what's needed, not for myself though............I love my stash.

The world foods aisle in Asda and Morries both have bigger bags of ground coriander which are quite cheap for the size too.

If I ate meat I might be tempted to stock up more, I can see why everyone does it. Me, I'm just overloaded with pulses and grains!

Not been online in a while! Been having to drop OH at one of the farms and then going to my temporary office, which in all is 3hours travel a day!! Luckily OH's truck is back on the road, so today, enjoyed a morning dog walk instead.

Spent about £7 from the budget, annoyingly i didn't get a receipt so have had to guestimate.

Need to do a shop tonight, we've not got any real meals i can easily make, so need to get meat etc. Hopefully won't spend too much, but will see when i get there!

Got reduced chicken breast in the co-op yesterday, their lunch time reductions aren't great, but I am happy to pay 90p per chicken breast, so picked up 4 of them.

Dinner tonight is meatballs, weight watchers sauce finished off with a little bit of cheese. Will probably have that tomorrow too so the jar doesn't go to waste.

Lunch i am going to have to buy as i don't fancy anything we've got in!

Morning and hope all is well with your FIL bramble1.

Not hungry today, so basically just snacking. Jacket potatoes for lunch with an apple turnover.
    Probably just toast for breakfast.
Hoping not to spend much, if any today and not much tomorrow as I'm missing out Lidl all together. Keep pennies just for veg and "whoopsies".

    morning guys.

Still ill trying to book doctors appointment today.:(

was up until 2am wrappping pressies, decorating lounge and baking a birthday cake as eldest is 6today! Also her tooth fell out last night so have to moonlight as tooth fairy feeling poorer as hubby told her she gets 5quid for 1st tooth then 1per subsequent teeth have no idea what going rate is but they dicuss the amounts in school scary they have a teeth exchange rate!

baked cake with some of ingrediants I had but had to get caster sugar, more butter as used a whole 500g tub and cocoa powder £1.89 which is flipping expensive and need more anyone know which is cheapest.

sent hubby to differnt sainsburys where he got stressed as dident know his way around and he got reduced mini brown rolls just hope kids will eat brown as some can be picky

need to go butchers this morning
get yext voucher for lunch at pizza hut-kids eat free
ring marks see whos holding the fairy cake.
go party shop decided cups and staws might be cheaper than cartons as cant get to farmfoods just time poor partys tommowow.

going to attempt mini fairy cakes so each child

    2mini ham rolls
    1 mini cake
    1pack crips.
    1pack buttons
not sure if should included yogurt or fruit?

think will opt for half price quavers at co-op at £1.82.

got 1 lot of on offer bog roll to treat our bums this month but plan to stock up on lidls stuff.
Bulk brought few reductions at co-op today.

ahh waitrose delivered shopping and now have stockpile of tinned tomato soup as ordered 2 and 2 veg as 2 for 75p. they subbed veg with tomato so have 4tins.restrained myself with beans and spaggetti just 2tins each.

Did my usual phantom basket could have sworn added 2jars coffee.
dont do online much as takes me ages to go through 98pages of essentials and then offers and only get given 2hours to complete usally fill basket then take stuff out.

There was a discerpancy of about nearly 4quid on estimated total I saw on computer and what charged for rang up and think the half price duck was the issue with was £3.82 per kg but he refunded me difference so paid £3.82 for duck and £2.36 for pork belly.

we nearly out of peas .
stockpiled on choc buttons got 80packs from corner shop for £6.
its mostly for party and decorating cakes.
