katskorner - not too familiar with WW but maybe count points instead of syns and try your best to eat healthily 80% of time? That's my aim. :D

lol that sounds like a good idea (says the person who just had crisps and is having a chinese tea:rotfl:) i don't mind red days in moderastion lol, i would say we;ll have mostly red days til stocks go down lol, hopefully doing sw will stop me stocking up on whoopsies, altho i'm not impressed that pitta bread has sys instead of being a healthy extra :( i have 2 packs of wholemeal ones in the freezer and i love them lol xxx

I eat pretty healthy meals but lately have struggled in the day eating too much cheese and choccies since Christmas! A real weakness. Plus alcohol isn't great for weight loss..... must stop! or at least have a few days off a week. Get half term out of the way and get back into routine and go for it. My BMI is 22 so I don't need to lose much but I know what I want to be and I am more than that now.

    Evening all

Yayyy the start of the weekend, and half term! No early morning school runs! Picked ds up from school and he had a bag of sweets as it was a child's birthday, he swung the sweets round and ended up losing most of them. Nipped into Home Bargains to buy goodies to keep him quiet.

We had shepherds pie with carrots and broccoli for tea, was really nice. I made the carrots using olive oil though, and I think I prefer butter.

Had a really bad tummy ache today, think it might be from taking lemsip max capsules but not sure. I hate the taste of the drink so bought the tablets - wish I hadn't now. Feels like when you get tummy ache from antibiotics.

Been thinking of going to ww myself, I did sw a while back but couldn't get to grips with it.

Lynsey - dad managed to get 6 bottles for me (and one for mum lol) so least I've got some. Hopefully I'll have chance to get some more.

Definitly need to join this :o I used to live with my parents (due to illness), and was buying food for them, my brother and my boyfriend. I'm now single, living on my own (well with flatmates but due to their religious beliefs we have very different diets, so can't really share food)....and still thinking I have to bulk buy. Thing is I'm moving out in June, and I can't be taking lots of food with me, it'd be ridiculous.

Like, it seems, a lot of you, I love bargains. I also think, because of being very ill in the past, I've got it in the back of my mind that I need to stockpile, incase I'm poorly and can't go shopping. Whereas the fact is, living near a massive tescos and a smallish co-op means I'll never go hungry :o

So next week, all I'll need is milk. I'm going out for dinner, tomorrow and tuesday (ooh get me!) and next weekend I'm at my parents. So I really, really don't need much else....*she's says*

Anyone in the south east area, who is in need of noodles, come round! ;)

I'm clearly indulging in the '20%' as I'm in the middle of takeaway, too. :rotfl:
Didn't help that Morrisons had Toffee Crisp cookies reduced and some of their 'best' ones, too. :o

Need to add another £24.91 spend to my sig as stocked up on milk from FarmFoods and various bits and bobs from Morrisons.
Got some of the 99p cumberlands plus some reduced pizzas for a party next week for FIL/MIL (my contribution).

Was shocked at the £1.39 I had to pay for a little jar of nutmeg.
But thanks for the tip off peeps about the 400g ground coriander in the World Foods section. Get through loads so that will save me a fortune. :D

Katskorner - wish I had your BMI. Not saying what mine is but I've got a long road ahead. :o

Hi Lyra.. welcome to the thread. Hopefully you'll get some good tips and not copy the majorities behaviour of being addicted to whoopsies. :D

Are you moving to a place on your own or with someone?

Ahhh I spent about £70 tonight!!! My freezer and fridge are bursting! I started weight watchers on weds and there was so much reduced things in Morries, pizzas for 45p etc! Also got tapas bits for 49p each. I'm leaving my card at home till the freezer is empty so I can buy more stuff!!

Well done Lip_Stick on getting some Comfort...........or well done to your Dad.:D
Wishes to all suffering with ailments, recover quickly.
    Welcome lyra.
What's all this WW and dieting stuff?? That's so January and just before holidays. :p

Spent 44p eventually on a pack of stir fry veg from Sainsburys, looked too nice and fresh to leave - had that for supper with noodles and and knocked up a quick sauce. It was very nice.

It's been a 100% veggie day, mainly down to snacking. Impressed Kirri?? ;)
Took out 2 sirloin steaks for tomorrows tea (been in and out of freezer several times!!). Steak and onions tomorrow with griddled sliced potatoes.

Not much needed tomorrow, but going to get some more 30p veg from Morries before the offer ends on Sunday, probably jacket potatoes, swede and carrots - lots there for only 90p.
Looks like it's been a cheap week, unless lots of "whoopsies" appear from somewhere tomorrow.

Hi, I haven't been shopping for nine days now, since I last restocked after eating almost everything I had. I don't intend to let my stocks get quite that low again. The fresh food in the fridge has almost gone, some of the whoopsies were eaten a week after their sell by date, and I am alive to tell the tale. I think I can knock a few more meals up from the tins I have in the cupboard, and might go shopping in the middle of next week.

I had a go at making yogurt in a slow cooker, and bingo it works. Check out the vids in yootube.
