    I've been Money Tipped!
Not a penny spent yesterday. :money:

Need bread and milk today and some veg.

I was going to go to Pizza Hut today, but feeling a bit iffy - sore throat, fluey and headaches. Plus side is I'll save more pennies, until I pick-up. lol

Took out some smoked bacon and had bacon butties for breakfast in cheese and onion muffins. Fish cooked as is potato ready to make fishcakes for lunch.

Starting to see those gaps again - lot easier to fill than to empty!!!

I have been trying to get my better half to do this for ages now without much success. For the two of us we have a full 13 cu ft freezer full and two stock cupboards! We could survive a seige, apart from milk, for several months! Due to being in a conservation area, we cannot keep a cow:D

well now I have a completely empty drawer at the top of my freezer, which is bothering me (i will NOT go shopping! ;) ) so i have filled the gap with ice cube trays and water bottles! good because i can kid myself there is no need to go shopping as the freezer is still full, and money saving because a full freezer is more economical!!
supernoodles from the cupboards with garlic bread and bacon tonight seeing as its just me and the kids, DH is on a late shift so he will get beans on toast as there is half a tin to eat up. Pleased with progress of emptying the cupboards too. this is definately working!
quick question, i have found some mincemeat, if i make a big batch of mince pies, can I freeze them, or will they go funny?? :)

I went shopping this afternoon, spent £30 but mainly fruit and things for the fridge, milk, bread, so thats my £260 budget gone apart from a few pound to last until next week. Yesterday lunch was homemade quiche with salad - potatoes and lettuce from the garden. Then we had chicken dinner for tea, chicken from the freezer, potatoes from garden, broccoli and sprout were 10p whoops and carrots came from part of a 35p whoops bag. I did buy a couple of boxes of fish fingers:o tea tonight is chicken and salad, though theres also some whoops fresh pasta from the freezer that I might have.

I feel a baking day coming on :D

I have been writing down all the food I have in all the cupboards, fridge and freezer. I thought I had a lot but it looks like even more when its all written down  really don't need any shopping for quite a while which should save me some pennies :T

Bella, steak mince is only £1.34 in Lidl's Half Price Weekend offer for 500g, well worth stocking up at this price - unless you find it cheaper.

Had a bad day, spent £7.03, so put a dent in my budget, though still on track.

No meat, but got some Sainsburys pizza's for 99p (reduced from £3.60 each, but who pays £3.60!!!), and some eucalyptus honey rduced to 57p per jar and biccies (twin pack of chocolate hobnobs for 71p per pack) amongst others. A deep dish apple pie for only 59p, reduced from £2.50 which I'm going to have now with coffee.
