    I've been Money Tipped!
I've got some Quorn mince and some cod fillets Natalie, the Quorn makes lovely spag bol.

I'll think I'll use the fish tomorrow as a light snack and make some fishcakes. Hopefully Pizza Hut tomorrow.
Been cooking early and shepherds pie is made and just needs finishing in the oven for lunch, topped with cheese and onion.

BTW, those roosters make really nice sticky mash.

Trying not to spend today, but may try Sainsburys late on. I'm trying to spend as little as possible in the first half of July to give more leeway for the second half.

Be good, but not too good. ;)

we only ever buy beans on offer anyway and will always use the whole tin that day or the next so i have no need need to freeze them

breakfast was yet more muffins (very popular here :) )

lunch is going to be sandwichs i have a wee bit of ham that needs used

dinner is chicken (legs from the freezer will just rip the meat off the bone there in the sc) with mash and mixed veg and gravy, i'll make some yorkshire puddings if u have chance but since i have 3 boys with chicken poxs it might not happen

    Morning all :)

Well I have done a stock take of the freezer :) some lovely stuff in there that I'd forgot about.

This morning I finished 2 sausages from freezer, with 3 lonely mushrooms and a teacake which needed using up :) it was very nice. Not sure what to have for lunch I have another teacake which needs using so prob something on that. For tea it is gammon, new potatoes and OH is having egg with his. The only thing I really am having the urge to buy is mince meat! we tend to use alot of it, gonna try to resist til at least weekend before buying any :)

    xx

Today will be chicken korma and rice with a little piece of naan each which we got reduced a couple of weeks back. Thought I would give them a favourite before I hit them with a 'use it up from the fridge' omelette tomorrow. ;) Will make some potato salad with my last packet of reduced Jersey Royals that I have.

Can I join you? We have two full freezers, a larder and cupboards full of food - and there's only two of us, but I do love a bargain! Need to spend less on groceries so this is an excellent way to do it.

So for lunch I had cup a soup and dinner will be chilli (mince is currently defrosting) with some wrinkly peppers and a few tins of beans from store cupboard. Although this will make loads of chilli and lots of portions will go back into freezer tonight - does this count?!

It does count as hopefully you be reheating it one day with either a jacket spud or rice. You are allowed to buy potatoes. Rice has to be in the cupboard already.

Excellent! We have an enormous sack of rice in the cupboard (it was on offer) which needs using up.

Chilli was lovely and 4 portions have gone back into the freezer (to be eaten with rice stash that we have) for a later date.

Tea tonight will be 2 slices of homemade unidentified pie that have been languishing in the bottom drawer of the freezer, with veg in fridge and gravy from store cupboard.

Lunch will probably be either a tin of soup or ravioli on toast with cheese, yum.

morning all last nighst tea was a disaster we had no eggs so no yorkshire pudding and the chicken wasn't cooked so we had gammon i'd cooked for sandwichs, still atleast i was using things up

kids just had muffins yet again :) i know it prob sees like they have loads but they love them, lunch will be pasta from a packet of value stuff i'd had for forever i used to buy them when i was preg for the twins cause i couldn't stand long there quite nice topped with cheese but i havnet been preg for 2 years so it really needs used, i'm gonna have a cheese and onion sandwich and a cupasoup

dinner is abit hit and miss we've hardly any spuds so the kids are having chicken dinner and if oh remebers to buy me some and leaves them in before he finishes work so will we but if he buys them but doesn't leave them in we'll prob have chips beans and cheese or baked taties (depends how good the taties are) if he completely forgets we'll have beans on toast or chicken burgers, either wat we're not buying anything except spuds :)
