    I've been Money Tipped!
Bought 4 packs of rooster potatoes, again for 10p per pack, to give away to the over 60's.
Sods Law, but they are on their annual trip today, so left with them (though got rid of 1 pack to neighbour).
Cleared out some freezer space (reduced Sainsburys Liver and Bacon today) and made 4 double portion packs of wedgers and froze last night.

Only pence wasted if they don't get used, I might try and store them in a cool place. Already got Jersey Royals and Lincoln potatoes!!!!
Definitely trying hard this week, though probably doing the Pizza Hut offer Wed/Thurs combined with the Odeon Cinema tickets.
I need very litte this week, only carrots, onions, milk and bread really needed and I'm hoping for some reduced apples to make deep dish pies.

Not doing bad with my challenge. Have a few cumberland sausages to use up so will stuff a marrow I've had lurking too long with some sausage mixed with Ainsley Harriots coucous sage and onion stuffing (APfoods). Should be tasty. :D

For the rests tea tonight I've got a small portion of mince so will bulk that out with breadcrumbs and make into meatballs to serve with spaghetti. Dinner done! :T

Did succumb to the reduced shelf as they had scrummy clotted cream reduced to 9p a pot. Not leaving that on the shelf so had some for myself, mum and SIL.
Sadly spent £2 on masses of scones for us to serve with them. :o Ah well, was so well received by all that it was worth it.

Meal plans now completed for the next 2.5 weeks so I'm getting there. Shame my budget is getting eaten away by the bargainous Body Shop sale. Couldn't resist using all the codes to get some gorgeous stuff!

Must get round to updating my sig.

There is probably more salt in those than I put in my home made bread. My recipe says - 1 teaspoon salt.....I put a pinch. My bread turns out fine.....I use half white/half wholewheat plus sunflower seeds. The only complaint I had about my bread was from Mil - she loved the bread but said - it needs more salt. Mil puts salt on her food at the table - we don't. We are so used to the bread - love it as is.

Wow that's incredible! How did you do it, if you don't mind me asking?? Thanx in advance!
Hi, hubby was always big- 13 stone at 13 years old/14 stone at 14 years old etc. His Dad was big too. When we met he was 23 stone- ate out a lot - been on his own for 10 years. We married and I cook from fresh ingredients. He stopped eating out/no take aways. As he lost weight.....which was slowly....he could move easier....started walking places rather than having a taxi. I think the main reasons he lost weight were - portion control/eating the right food/cooked correctly. He was never a heavy drinker but now rarely drinks.....I have an adversion to alcohol - I was married to an alcoholic. He was starting to have health problems connected with his weight so it was time to sort it out....love him so want to keep him.
