Tomorrow is pork sauages, bacon (from freezer), mushrooms and tomatoes for breakfast.
Going to my parents late afternoon. It will be just me and my dad, as mum is going out with friends. Having a chilli con carne. Mince, mushrooms and peppers from the freezer.0 -
I've found some Warburtons Squarish Wraps in the freezer. They are brilliant for pizza bases as about twice as thick as other wraps.
I will be still be buying these as they are classed as a bread product.
Making pizzas from these is great as it uses leftovers. So if you have a couple slices of ham, a couple of mushrooms and half a dozen cherry toms in the fridge. Have a box of grated cheese in the freezer - a variety of cheddars, cheshire and red leicester which I have bought in the reduced in the past. One of the cheeses in there is a TTD Cheddar which was £3.50 and purchased for 25p. Cook in the oven for 10 mins on 180c. The wraps have a very similar texture to the thin and crispy bases.
The wraps are £1.45 for 6.
They sound fab! I make mine with pita breads lol!

If you decide to use grated cheese, its best to take the box out the freezer a good hour beforehand as sometimes, you just get huge lumps of cheese. Ok if you are doing a jacket spud with cheese.0 -

Chilli for me tonight with a mild version for ds. Using mince and peppers out the freezer. I'll probably make it with oven chips. But, I'll have to freeze some chilli as there'll be a bit too much for the two of us.
I really need to tackle my middle large draw which has all my veg in, but also has unpackaged meat and fish in it. I'm not even sure what's lurking at the back of it.There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
I'm so glad I finished the last sausage meat yesterday as today I had to get in on the meal deal glitch at Sainsburys- it is almost all freezable and I had a lot of space! I feel it is good to stock up the freezer, so long as every 6 months we do this challenge to make sure it is not a false economy. After all, the alternative is to eat at full price!0
