NSD for me today, but had a result at my mums
Cheese, fresh pasta, baby pots, breakfast sausage and scotch pies (plus a few kit kat chunkys fell into my bag too!) So hopefully this will see us through to next week with what we've already got.
Made lasagna today, have 4 spare portions for the freezer.Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

I need to get milk, garlic and bread today. I'd like to bake my own bread, so might give that a whirl. I am NOT going down any other aisles at the supermarket. I will NOT deviate from the list.
OH has cheese lettuce and tom wraps and other bits for lunch, i'm going to have a tin of soup.
Dinner we've got a cheats prawn & Chorizo paella, and i'm making a tea loaf for lunch boxes when i get in later, the raisins are soaking as we speak!
I'm hoping to get through till saturday with out doing a shop. But I will need to get stuff in for next week, as we've not got much. In actual fact, friday night might be better, then i can try and get whoopised stuff where possible.
Will do a quick meal plan for the rest of the week as i've not got it sorted yet!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Hi all,
Can anyone think of anything I can use some burgers for instead of just burger and chips? Bit bored of that, but burgers are so cheap ATM I keep buying them!
Hi Bramble, if we have any burgers we usually have them with mashed potatoes, loads of veg and gravy. We're not too keen on them on their own other than in a crusty cob with fried onions and a spicy sauce. HTH.S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

I had to go get peas for dinner, thought we had some in the freezer, but couldn't find them. Picked up some whoopised raspberries for 99p whilst there, which i will bake with tomorrow.Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Had a frozen spaghetti and meatballs for lunch, middle was still frozen so had to defrost in micro at work, had quakers porridge from cupboard for brekkie, 50p for a box of 10 with moc in asda, still have 2 more boxes, but since they are for kids, i tend to have 1 and a half with the same amount of milk, making it thicker and yummy, so boxes will be gone in about 3 weeks
will have to get some more while the deal is still on.
Dinner i just had a burger and chips from freezer, feel like its all i'm eating! realised i didnt have any more of my portioned ready meals in the freezer for lunches, so made one of the cheapo pastas campbells, leek ham and cheese and will have that for lunch tomorrow, wish i had something like meat to go with it, but everything needs defrosting.
Have a pack of 25 chicken thighs, my grandma put them in the freezer to keep, not thinking to portion up! grr so will have to batch cook those and freeze loads at weekend, but that should be great for lunches, as then i can cook up more pasta, yes i have at least 5 more packs of that ready made stuff, just add milk and take a cooked chicken thigh out and have that for some lunches, also at weekend gonna batch cook a pasta bake, so there is some variety, prob a mince pasta one.
Off now to think up chicken thigh ideas, so far i have, thighs in a slow cooker along witha campbells chicken soup, onions and some herbs, chicken wrapped in bacon, had it at a rodizio and it was yum! after that i am a bit stuck.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

Morning.
Got back last night and wnet for some bread from Sainsbury's and picked up a few things (reduced).
Muffins, tea-cakes, apple and sultana lattice pie and pork chops - £1.91 spent.
Toasted tea-cakes for breakfast and burgers for later.
Need to buy veg and still ovenless, looking for a new one - so working without an oven for a while. Slow cooker, pressure cooker and microwave etc will come to rescue!
Also need to get rid of some fish. Pasta and casseroles on agenda this week (once I get veg).
Only a short month with losing a week on holiday, so trying to spend only £75 in November on food stuff.
