All this talk of I**a makes me want to go, too, as I've not been for ages. However, I don't really need anything, I've not got enough time to go (or spare cash) and no space for more clutter, and the house isn't tidy/nice enough for accessories. This will have to wait until the holidays. Hope I've done a good enough job, talking myself out of it.

Right, I've got an hour before I have to leave for work, so, gonna prep the veg for tea then that's done, hang the washing out, put recycling in bin outside, put some stuff that's in the dining room into the shed whilst I'm out there, make my bed... open blinds and tidy clean washing away, sort my workbag, get changed, and whatever else I find along the way. :T

I've done all the ironing I can do but TD and WM are still on so I'm going to leave the ironing board up so I can just do it when they've finished.

There are loads more jobs to be done but I'm shattered now so I'm going to have a sit down for a bit.

Rhys's clothes now all sorted, he doesn't need as much as i thought and i'm sure i'll find stuff in the attic for him.

Slowly working my way through the washing pile. Grub going on shortly, it will take awhile to cook (chicken crumble :drool:).

Right i best get the clean, folded clothes put away.

Council are gonna do my house! (how many times have I said this lol) just had a letter that they're just sorting out contracts and the decant houses to put us in for when we move out. It's imminent (over the summer probably) but sorta-yay....I'm not holding my breath and I'll believe it when I actually move out.

So, new kitchen, new bathroom, electrical re-wire, new downstairs cloakroom, all walls plastered (they're currently not and never have been) new skirts/doors (I think) new front door & back door, new porch, new windows, new guttering, poss new roof, and most importantly, the house will be tied together (prefab gaps are coming apart) and insulated, brick rendered and painted. Warmth

ETA: OMG!! just had the most dreadful thought- might not have the internet for almost 10 weeks

Morning all
Have been pottering I've got 2 days off work next week so want to get stuck in The following week I finish on the Thursday and that's me done then Just hope I get my job back in September - I have to re-apply and go through interview every year and interviews aren't until August! Never mind, we will see
Going to have a nosy at the lists now Have already put our bedding in wash and now going to stick in TD

morning all
DD had a friend sleep over last night, so im not feeling very well rested. and im working 1.30-9pm, so any flying must be done before. first thing on the list is sort out the pile of clean washing, then i'll be ironing my work stuff, and a quick s&s of the kitchen.

Rain has dried up now so I'll put wash 1 and 2 out and hope it dries quickly as wash 3 is spinning now.
