*Have fun* everyone headed to Ikea today! I had planned to go today but heard a rumour about the sale starting on Wednesday so we're going on Friday now (by which time everything will have gone!:()
We're getting new furniture for our spare room as the last lot had pretty much fallen apart  Can't really afford it but I promised myself I could get it if I got all the decorating done. And I don't think £150 for a 3-door wardrobe is bad at allIt has a mirror on too which means I can declutter my freestanding one and make some more space

When I went to IKEA, I didn't take one of the yellow bags. Therefore could only buy as much as I could carry.
I did this last time too but only coz I was too tight to pay for a bag. I was in a wheelchair at the time though so just piled everything up on my lap til I couldn't see over it. I have a photo, I look hilarious :rotfl:It's about an hour and a half away from where I live so I tell myself I have to make the most of it while I'm there
Might get time for some flying today before I go to ma & pa's for dinner. Feel so pleased that I had such a productive week, everything I crossed off the list I did really thoroughly, I'm hoping it will get easier each week
*gives self pat on back*
Thanks for all the encouragment and support ladies xx0 -

Bathroom all clean and shiny and upstairs hoovered.
DH has cleaned the hall wall where I've taken down a big picture and is going to put up the new shelf.
Embb that is wonderful news, I hope they do everything they promise.
Hi Toots DS3 is a lot better this afternoon, eating like a horse. DS1 has hit the golf course and been AH'd.
Next tasks DH to deal with the wasp nest and I need to sort out something for dinner. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Bthroom has had a clean, DD is dusting and dewebbing...I think I will quickly go onto the American flylady site as she likes to look at the tidy childrens rooms and I find it gives her a boost...then chill with Columbo...............xx0

Afternoon all!
:bdaycake:Happy Birthday carlsbergal - hope you have a lovely day! Happy Belated Birthday to anyone whom I've missed over the past few weeks.
Sorry I've not popped in for a while. My new job has taken up more of my time than I expected, and my weekend last weekend was so busy (I had to look after my Nana at short notice) that it didn't even feel like I'd had one at all!
Moon was given a list of jobs to do yesterday whilst I was at work, so he's cleaned the bathroom floor (I asked him to do the kitchen, but never mind), done lots of washing and remembered to remind me to collect my prescription after work. He's also strimmed the forest that was our garden at the front and back, so that's looking a lot better now.
Today so far, I've done some food shopping (also managed to pick up a couple of bargains in a sale that I shall try to sell on ebay during the summer holidays - called my friend so she could do the same), washed my hair, cleaned the loo, and eaten lunch and breakfast.
Tasks still to do then:
Put away all of the washing that Moon did yesterday,
Do a meal plan for the week,
Buy any additional food that is needed for the meal plan,
Work out what to do to celebrate my birthday on Friday.
Hope everyone is well. I texted LadyL today to see if she wanted to go for a coffee, and she's at Glastonbury. She said she saw U2 last night, but it's freezing cold and wet today and she wants to go home. Can everyone please send good weather vibes over there so that she can enjoy it a bit more?
Well I'd better crack on with my list so that I can get everything done before Moon gets home from work (he finishes at 4 on a Saturday).
Hugs to all who need or want them, and :hello:to all of my flylady friends.

(was up at sparrow's cof - well, just gone 7
have dyed hair (roots were showing. There were lots of them and they were grey. ugh. MUST remember to buy more dye - I use semi permanent) The grey BTW will be due to STRESS and for no other reason;)
e bay buy contacted me. Thrilled, apparently with condition of goods but intends to reduce rating because I left a t off his surname. This is me, necking myself to get to the PO after staff meeting Tuesday or I couldn't have posted until Thursday. And buyer faffed about paying, had to be invoiced twice because he couldn't find the invoice which I did send and have copies of...and got a brilliant combined postage deal. Politeness prevents me saying what I thought ...
have washed loads os stuff, ironed first lot and just have the red stuff drying now - keeps going black then not raining...and I have been in the attic, brought down the fans, dismantled them and washed the cages and the blades and reassembled. Jug of water chilling in fridge. Not looking forward to 30 degree heat.
still to do
living room
dining room
kitchen
my room
vacuum through up stairs other - landing and kids rooms
vacuum stairs and hall
I will NOT be capable of cleaning or ironing in THAT heat so it must be done

Can't believe how petty your ebay buyer was Valli - sounds to me like they are just one of those people who are never happy with anything!Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

I know! I'm always worried about selling on ebay in case it goes wrong but I seem to have more troubles with sellers! Which reminds me, I need to get onto my seller about the headphones AND mains adapter that were *meant* to come with my iphone. Grrrrr.0
