    Morning all

Managed to get the boys room done yesterday, still have all the clothes to sort through today. :D

Must have a nosey tonight for some bunk beds, bedding, curtains etc for the boys room. The boys are going to have our room because it's bigger and we're gonna move back into the back bedroom. So plan this week will be to get the room painted and we'll all (5 of us) sleep in there until we get the back bedroom plastered and painted. Thank goodness it's nearly the summer holidays....

Right i best get everyone feed, get wm and td on. Should really get changed too.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Morning all

    Happy Birthday Carlsberg

Started the day by deleting a load more emails, gradually getting there. Now distracted by a huge slug sliding along the slate outside.

Rachel - keep going whilst you are keen, that feeling may not last. Enjoy IKEA, I went yesterday and was very reserved. We play this game that before you pay you have to remember everything you have in your yellow bag. If you can't remember it do you really need it?

Off to wake up DS2 for squash and talk DS3 out of going - he is full of cough and cold now.

Flying today needs to be the bathroom and a hoover around upstairs.

Where is the sun I was expecting?

    Morning lovelies!

    Happy Birthday carlsberg xx

    Welcome new people :hello:

Been trying to get things organised this week, everything was way out of control so working hard to get it back on track, finances particularly....think I'm getting there.

Waiting for the council to do something too, structural engineer said the gap in the outside wall was thermostatic but that it's moving and will continue to move *shrugs* got to give the council a kick up the rear end if nothing is done about it come October  friggers!

Got myself a notebook daily list going on and I've done pretty well with the housework and all the things that go with having a family and running it by oneself, it's such hard work sometimes isn't it, for once I just want someone to say, 'I'll do that' or I'll sort out the car stuff etc etc *sigh* never mind :D

Work today for a couple of hours, this job always perks me up as the apartment has such a wonderful atmosphere and is a delight to clean

The kitchen has had a good going over and the WM is on with the first load, need to drag the hoover out at some point and prep the veg for tea. Cat has been fed, want to put the recycling in the bin outside but it's wet and I cannit summon up the energy to put my shoes on and get the back door key lol

Have a great holiday LW xx

Happy Birthday, carlsberg, and happy holiday, lamewolf.

The week at work went ok, after I had last week off. It felt a bit like I was faced with an elephant on Monday, but I kept reminding myself of 'one bite at a time'. I think I've managed most of the trunk.... :o

Busy weekend ahead, but I let myself have a slow start with a cuppa and my book in bed. :D We're starting next year's timetable on Monday and I have lots of related stuff to sort out.

    Plan for today/the weekend
flying after breakfast (fridge, bathroom, hoover are most urgent)
    costco
    market
new bra for work/trainers for DS2 for PE
    laundry
    mail
    homework with DS2
    park with DS2 and/or build-a-bear with DS2 (tomorrow)
work (class lists, electronic markbook, schemes of work)
plan budget for the month (just got paid, so it's urgent)

    I'm sure there'll be more. :D

ETA Change of plan - I'm going through to school in the hope that it's open. Need to get hold of some data to help with sorting class lists.

Am debating whether to go to I**a...........DD stayed at DSD's last night and was supposed to be with her to day but DSD was called into work. When I suggested going to the shop DD was very much up for it, which surprised me. Weather is carp so not sure what to do......Think another cuppa will help me decide!!

Flying wise....got the wet rug in from outside and put it back in the WM!!!!!

I have a brand spanking new mattress on my bed at home. Bought after the BF kept wingeing about how he slept badly when he came to mine blah blah blah cause my old mattress had more springs that had gone than were still in place. ;)

I really really miss that old lumpy mattress. It had more give in it! :D

I'm busy looking at memory foam mattresses cos my OH's whinging about mine too, he wont stay at mine and mine's a double so got to squeeze into his single bed round his, I go home after I've had him :D I'm too old to be sleeping in a single bed, so, he's going halfies with me on a memory foam one.

The sun is slowly coming out to play. I've had some porridge which has given me some energy, funny that lol I need to eat more, only had two sandwiches yesterday and 2 boiled sweets at work lol

Bust concocting an online shopping list, it's painstaking but this week it saved me loads and saved just under half a tank of petrol  must have been going to the shops an awful lot :o Wondering whether to risk my washing outside....hmmmmmm.....

Dusty hope your boys feel better soon x
