Is it worth complaining though...You'll just heighten your profile and find it more difficult next time maybe, by drawing attention to yourself...

I would just wait until the next one(it might be much bigger) and go there knowing you are correct.....

    Ive learnt this from experience!!!!!

    Good Luck.

does it really matter if you heighten your profile? If tesco have a policy and you abide by the rules then it shouldn't matter.

The problem ultimately lies with Tesco's and not with its bargain grabbing customers.

Unfortunately it does matter, it shouldnt really do u any harm, if all you do is shop at Tescos and get the odd Dtd, but to shop at Tescos using lots and lots of mocs, have 8 Clubcards with 14,850 points on this quarter and use many points coupons on not quite the correct items......then yes it does....ask some of the people who have lost (upto) 70,000 points this quarter........

I got locally banned for multiple RandRs and nationally banned for Policy abuse a couple of years back...
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

    Today I got:

Tetley Extra Strong Tea Bags, pack of 80, £1.87 each, BOGOF SEL (expired 15/07/08).

BOGOF did not kick in. Full DTD refund no problem.

    You are right.

    And you are wrong.

    :D

Ask yourself this - if you work on a CS desk and you see the same Dude coming in time and time again for DTD do you think you might become concerned?

Do you think that you might mention it to your boss?

Do you think that he might then mention it to the in-store staff and security to watch and follow this Dude?

Of course you are right. Tesco should honour each and every DTD but if they feel that you are not shopping within the spirit of DTD you risk all sorts of problems.

See DTD as a long-term benefit, not a short-term Grabbit.

This is probably the dumbest post of the day, but what is the benefit of having multiple cards? And how would you get all of the vouchers sent to one address?

Only asking as we were thinking of starting to build up points to put towards a holiday next year.

    Thanks

I think newishtothis was probably meaning his question was probably the dumbest of the day not the actual quoted poster.

May be an apology is in order

May I ask a dumb question as well: Does Tesco Metro have a dd policy? Thanks

I thought the same as you at first but i think that they were referring to their own question not leadheads post.

Yes Tesco Metro, Express etc should follow Dtd, not had Dtd in one myself but did have R&R back in the day.

Having had a spat with leadhead a few years ago over R&R, I know that he is more than capable of fighting his own corner.
