In antisipation of a future DTD argument, what angle do people use with regard to DTDs resulting from expired offers on SEL labelling?
I understand the legal reasoning behind why it IS overcharging, just curious how you get a stubborn CS to agree.0 -

You keep calmly repeating the mantra "well, the blue board says..."
If they don't shift, and its a DTD you want to fight over, then ring HO from the CS desk. They either back down pretty sharpish or get embarrassed as HO tell they're wrong, then back down.
The OOD SEL is their fault, not yours.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

OK guys, I think we need to draw a line under this, and leave it up to individual forum members to decide who's being a TOTAL PRATT in this argument (not that it was intended to be an argument) - I mean, who would think of putting a space before a comma, ednotdave !!!!??
To be honest, I expected better from such a long-standing and "respected" member of this community (END OF !!!!) :silenced:
..... and thanks to quoia (in all sincerity) for pointing out my spelling mistake - like I said, I don't expect all posts to be grammatically correct and I'm certainly not here to preach - I just think anything that makes it easier for us forum members to follow each others posts is a positive step (and common courtesy), and shouldn't necessarily be construed as criticism targeted towards any particular forum member.

Yes, you're right - that's what I did mean to write .............. because that's what I DID write ............. so WHAT'S YOUR POINT ????????
My point is that if you (jokingly) remark on someone's lack of punctuation or grammar, you should make sure that yours is perfect - which it isn't.:rolleyes:OK guys, I think we need to draw a line under this, er... you started it, mate! and leave it up to individual forum members to decide who's being a TOTAL PRATT in this argument I think that's obvious! What's your problem? (not that it was intended to be an argument) - I mean, who would think of putting a space before a comma, ednotdave !!!!?? eh???
To be honest, I expected better from such a long-standing and "respected" member of this community (END OF !!!!) :silenced: eh???:confused:I love a nice juicy "kebab"...0 -
I have tried in several shops for the simpsons ps2 game with no luck. None of the stores I have looked in have a £12 label. All the sel say 27.71
I was really hoping to get this for my nephews birthday. hey ho you cant win them all0 -

I think you will find it should be the stickers on the games themselves which say £12 (hopefully), sel says £27.71 I think. So you have to check through ALL the shelves to see if you can find a stray one with a £12 sticker still on.
By the way, I saw in Asda that their PS2 Simpsons game is £12 rolled back from £12.xx, so it is clearly Tesco who is trying to rip off customers by charging £27 for the same game, rather than the £12 sticker being blatently wrong.0 -
I tried to get the simpsons game today no luck though as no sticker and no sel i scanned it just to see if i had the right one but it just said get an SA.
I'm new to all this and not very good at it i got over charged on some cocktail sauages a while ago and silly me accepted it when the SA said they no longer did DTD at express stores.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0
