Why don't people check the gist of a thread before posting comments like the last one. DTD is explained adequately in Post No.1 of the thread.
Which bit of "only post misprices" is difficult to understand?

    I despair sometimes ...

As much as it may be annoying to see the occasional Tesco newbie post questions that are answered elsewhere, cut them a little slack, eh?

There's over 1000 posts in this thread it's a little unreasonable to expect newbies to want to look through very many in order to answer a specific question. I guess, by the same token, who would really want to click on the first message of so many either? Just a tad daunting.

In my local yesterday, Nescafe on offer at £3 yellow SEL, scans at £3.78.
Alpen light cereal bars buy 2 for £3 (£1.88 each) discount not coming off at till.

    Odd Fellow,

Had mumzyof2 been a newbie, lots of slack would have been cut.
Had you yourself taken the trouble to check her post, you would have found that she had posted in excess of 2,500 times. She's no newbie.
People come to this particular thread to find out the latest Tesco misprices and the thread says "please only post misprices here". Their time is wasted by people such as mumzyof2 (and me now, I must confess) going off track.

I'm off to Tesco in a bit. I noticed a few offers ending on the 3rd.

    Phyllis13,

Had you yourself taken the trouble to actually read what I said, I wouldn't be peeved at your reply as you wouldn't have needed to make it.
    Tesco Newbie

    Not Newbie Newbie.

Nobody's time is being wasted here except mine fighting off an unwarranted attack. Others can choose to read the message or not. However, regardless, the point of there being in excess of 1000 posts (sorry, 2000) in this thread is enough to put anyone off reading it from the beginning. The real answer is to archive this thread off and start a new one - Mods?

Be very careful with Tesco's - we purchased a 99p pack of crisps last week that came up as a £7.50 tee shirt. Do not know how but just check your bills people.

Robinson's Fruit & Barley drinks BOGOF finished today. A completely innocent find this morning, luckily I still check my receipt out of habit.

The CA tried to tell me that DTD didn't apply to BOGOF deals and instead they would just honour the original promotion. It was nice to have a small 'discussion' with the CA, it reminded me of the good old days. I got my DTD... :o)
