4 packs of some beers (bottled) are advertised as 2 for £7.50, with the offer ending on 15th June. This definitely included Speckled Hen and Abbot Ale, and I think Stella and Ruddles were also in the offer. I bought a 4pack of Speckled Hen, and a 4pack of Abbot Ale, and no discount was taken off (£5.80 or so a pack). The CS checked both items on the computer, and apparantly neither are in an offer at the moment. DTD was given without asking...big sign taken down but individual SELs with the offer on were left. A few quid for 8 beers isn't too shoddy

Thanks for this I have a young baby and my brothers both have kids. Can you tell me what size this was.
Also what are nappy cakes?? I have never heard of this0 -
Nappy cakes dont sound very appealing whatever they are.0

Nappy Cakes are made as presents for new Mums. They are made of nappies rolled up and stacked in tiers, like the shape of a wedding cake, with little baby gifts like bibs and socks tucked in amongst the nappies. Very cute. When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0

A couple of days later went to the Mickleover store in Derby ....
FLORA BUTTERY - 66p (advertised as £1.32 - Half Price)
Price check scanner confirmed 66p so bought some !!!!
(would have been "nice" if it went through at 88p :rotfl: )
Hmm maybe they changed the prices at national level because of the discrepancy with the leaflet?0 -

No - it's still the same 84p at the other stores.
It's not the 1st time that I've found the same product at different prices in different stores only "a few" miles apart.
