Tubs of Stork margarine 1kg. SEL £1, charged £1.34

Sorry it's not a big reduction, but handy if you buy it anyway

F&C T shirts. 3 pounds each or two for a fiver. Charged £6. Two quid back.
  • Mum got a couple of bottles of Mighty Malt (mmm lovely stuff) and they scanned in at £2.97 each. She paid and only noticed the over charge when she got home. Off she went back to Tesco's and they gave her a refund of only £4.66... Can a DTD expert please correct me if I'm wrong but my mum should have got £4.66 x 2 = £9.32?

    2.97 - 0.64 = 2.33 x 2 for DTD = 4.66 x 2 as she was conned twice? = 9.32 ?

Could you reveal what the offer price was please?
  • the price should be £0.64 per bottle but I'm not sure if the SEL was there, but even then the bottle scanned in at £2.97 (which is the price of the six pack). My sister called them and they said fine come and get yo money :T

But that means someone could make a little earner from this as the difference is £4.66 with the DTD rule right?

    You're right enough.

    Overcharge £2.33 on each bottle DD = £4.66 x 2 = £9.32 refund. ;)

hi ive been reading this thread for a while now, but have never really been lucky enough to be 'mistakenly ripped off' by tesco,...untill tonight that is, when i thought 'get in! give me my DTD!'.... i had bought some fresh blackberries which i genuinely believed were £1.99, when i checked my reciept i saw i had been charged £2.99.. i went to customer services who checked the price and told me that the £1.99 is for 150g not the 250g, i asked her where are the 150g blackberries? (which there was none) and i asked where is the price for the 250g blackberries? (which there was no price for them),..and i asked her why they put the price £1.99 directly under the blackberries that are 250g?... she just apoligised to me and agreed to give me the £1 difference, i asked her about DTD, she told me that they cannot give me DTD because they had stated on the price tag that the £1.99 is for the 150g,.... are they right or should i have persisted?...there was no price for the 250g, and this price were under the 250g...which i honestly hadnt noticed the difference in sizes,...does DTD apply in this scenario? or was i right to accept the £1 she refunded?...i am very new to tescos DTD and my tesco dosent even have the DTd policy either behing cust services or on the tills..they r sneaky i think!
